Have you forgotten your pattern unlock in Redmi Note 5 pro? You should then do a hard reset or factory data reset to unlock the pattern and everything. You will loose your data that are stored in your phone by doing a hard reset. Suppose if you hard reset for some other purpose like hanging your phone often, virus attack, etc, then you can easily take a back up of your files by going to settings and data and back up, before having a hard reset or factory data reset.
