@@hoidoei941 if this is the way to make Uptempo basics i don't wonder why the genre is rising. Can be done by everyone without much effort. It is still work and you have to have talent to make decent sounding tracks, but thats way easier than the classic Hardcore and Gabber or Hardstyle Kicks. Even the actual Rawstyle Kicks are waaay easier to make, cause they mostly consist just of a Tok/Punch and monotonous distorted Bass as a Tail.

hey producer acadamy and the guys behind it, i really, really love the tutorials, but for me, one thing that i've never understood how to properly do is screeches - either making the screech sound in a synth (vital for example) or making the pattern. There aren't all that many tutorials on such a simple thing as screeches but i've never fully understood how to make a screech pattern and maybe you guys could make a video about it, it could help me alot of ppl!

Im not expert but i can tell you my way to make the screeches work properly with the rest of the song. Make a melody pattern with leads for the song, then sound design the screech and replace the melody for the screech, after that with little adjustments like note lenghts your screech will be fine in the song. For mind fk your listeners use some automation clips like reverb wet, filtering, panning etc

I'm not a big fan of uptempo, i'm more an Industrial/terror, Ophidian and DJIPE kind of dude. But I have to so, you really know how to make samples sound good, I played around with FL for years but it never really went anywhere. I'm thinking of picking it up again, been wanting to for a while now, I actually made some pretty good bangers back then.

Love this, I see some inspiration from the master EQUAL2 am i right?😂 Also if you would master this track how many LUFS would you make it? -5.5 is hardstyle but I guess uptempo can be a little more saturated.

Yes, we definitely took some inspiration from his videos! They are awesome! 💪🏻 For hardcore/uptempo you can really push it to the max. I'd say anything between -3 to -4 LUFS is fine, but if it works you can even push it higher up to -2. 😄

@@ProducerAcademy Yeah, he is quite some talent! I was a little intrigued about the OTT at first btw😂 but it worked out just fine. In the end, there are infinite ways of making kicks. And thanks for the mastering advice! That is quite loud master but it makes sense, hence uptempo/hardcore tracks are usually louder than hardstyle.

It is probably done by super aggressive equalizing that leaves only sub bass (30-100 hz) and tonal frequency (~700 hz), followed by strong distortion which is later equalized once again to get rid of low mids and emphasize tonal frequency. It also seems that sub bass ducked at the punch to make the kick sound more tonal at the beginning and more rumbling at the end. While doing uptempo kicks it is very easy to make something interesting, as there are no strict rules, and if you are getting something that sounds good - emphasize that element that makes the kick interesting, and go wild. Hope this helps
