I'm so excited to learn that moringa will grow so well there. We purchased a home in Valley Grande last year and will probably make the move next year. I am originally from Alabama but have lived in Ohio for 50 years. I am so ready to go back home and learn all about plants and growing from your channel. Thank you so much. Maybe I'll bump into you some day at a plant sale or nursery. My favorite places to be❤️

Hey Brenda! Coming home to Alabama! Exciting! When you get here you definitely need to make a trip to petals from the past In Jemison. It is the best nursery in the world! Maybe we could meet there sometime!

This is the first time I have watched you on KZfaq and I have been thinking about growing Moringa and have seeds, but haven't planted yet. I noticed your raised beds in the background and they look a lot like mine. I'm in TN and I'm not sure about the temps for Moringa, but I have heard that if I mulch my roots real heavy that they will grow back. Hope yours survive the winter.

We have the dwarf MORINGA seed as well. The voles ate the roots completely and killed our plants but we will definitely be planting again. For now we buy the powder. It has definitely helped with arthritis. Such a wonderful plant. Thanks for sharing great info.

I have several I started from seeds as well. I didn’t up-pot so they didn’t get that big this year. I heard about it this year and started taking the capsules for joint pain. I really didn’t know how to grow or harvest so I’m glad I saw this video. I will know next year 🙏🏻

I have been growing the tree for five or more years, I use the flowers and allow mine is produce th drumsticks from seed use, these are saved for oil making next. The bark and roots can also be used with caution. If you use Moringa make sure you drink a great deal of water as the leaves are so nutrient dense it can be hard on liver and kidneys. If you let it seed there are not as many leaves.

My moringa has survived until it hits 35 degrees or lower you can cut it down to 2-3 ft put a cloth pipe shape like weed block staple it then fill and pack leaves or straw until frost season pass it will grow back fast as it warms up!👍💛

Hi, I am waiting for my Moringa seeds to arrive and wondered if all goes well, can I dry the leaves in the sunshine? We can reach 35 degrees Celsius or more in the summertime, but as we are in Europe, the winters can be tough and the lowest we have experienced is minus 18 Celsius so I had better build a good greenhouse before winter. Your video explains everything perfectly thank you.

@@justdigitfarms I followed the instructions and after planting the seeds, they all just shrivelled up and vanished. I wonder if the seeds might have been radiated in the delivery service when crossing from one country to another? It’s disappointing but I think the best plan is for me to travel to collect young plants next time. 30 seeds gave not a single plant! Thank you for your response and I hope you have great success with your project.

Does the dwarf variety produce the drumsticks? Do you happen to know?
@justdigitfarms
@justdigitfarms 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Kristy. We have never got the drumsticks. I don’t know if it is because it dies before it has a chance to bloom and make them or if it’s because I don’t let it grow a lot. I cut and harvest the leaves a lot! Any suggestions you have would be great! I’d love to get the drumsticks! Very cool!

@@justdigitfarms I was born and raised in Florida, and grew up around these trees. We would play underneath them, and snack on the pods during play. I was also born with pernicious anemia, and those little pods (or rather large and long pods) allowed me to play without concerns. I loved them...then and now. As a suggestion, plant one tree and just let it grow, and then collect the seeds. The other trees you grow you can harvest leaves from. You'll have the best of both worlds, and you'll never run out of Moringa.
