I'm 24 and my voice has been the same since I'm 15-16. It is seriously effecting my life. I'm losing many opportunities because of it. I have no confidence to speak up.

Im 14 and I can pass off as a 9 year old. I act like one. I look like one. I sound like one. I live like one. Update: I'm 15. Still the same. Update 2: Almost 16! Nothing has changed Update 3: I'm 16 now Update 4: I'm 17 now, things aren't looking much better

Im 17 and i swear every time I play csgo, cod, any online game in existence, ect. People think im 8 years old because of how i sound on the mic. I tried adding a whisper and talking as confident as i can it seems to change nothing... My parents think i sound fine but a bunch of people i play with wouldn't disagree unfortunately. ok i know this was posted 6-7 years ago but like- when i had my gaming channel i was always hunched over, and people kept saying i sounded like a 12 year old so i lost all confidence and switched to animation. however i wanted to do voice acting but after awhile of trying voice acting i started to lose my confidence in it, this is really helpful advice. thank you so much, i currently use a headset because i left my mic at home but once i get it back im gonna reallyl practice my voice because my speaking is very lazy . i was born with a lot of problems involving my voice and my ankles on my feet so i was a clumsy one for sure.

Dont feel bad about your voice ;D you are beautiful the way you are,be yourself,dont try to speak in the voice of an adult.let nature do the job. it just requires some time.your voice will be better than you expected!

I actually love my childlike voice.While i may sound like a child in my speaking voice,i can sing and sound completely different in my singing voice.It can get deeper and also higher easily.While many of those who mock me for my childlike voice,have deeper voices and more attractive,they cant sing to save their lives.Guess who's better😏🧐😆😅😎🧘‍♀️.Tip :Love your voice and dont try to change it for others to like it ,whether its childlike or not
