I was saved about 4 years ago. My husband and I had been married for 4 years at that point with 2 little baby boys. 1 chorinthians 7:14 is what I held onto dearly! Having faith that one day my unbelieving husband would be saved. Lo and behold, the Lord worked through my family like you wouldn’t believe 😭 my husband was saved about 2 years ago, praise God! It still blows my mind that Jesus would save a couple of punks like us. All the glory to God.

Husbands are grown men not boys that need a wife mother, they can make the same effort and decisions as the woman and also NEED to put the SAME effort as the wife does, not all the weight relies on the wife to make a marriage work 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’ll come!! I’m not as long as the older women she talked about but I prayed for my husband for a while I’ve been saved 5 years and just this last Easter he got baptized me and my mama prayed for him everyday straight and had people in church pray for him and I saw his heart soften now we read the Bible and pray he’s still growing in doing things on his own (we’re always growing lol) but for him to be open to all these things is such a amazing prayer answered. Keep praying keep inviting him to church, my hubby use to play video games when I took the kids to church each week now he gets upset missing a week. It seems like it won’t ever change but it will be the light and love of Christ Jesus will soften his heart God bless ❤

Thank you for these videos! My husband and I have been walking through a super tough season in our marriage. Milena your video inspired me to pray over a renewed mind and spirit for my husband & I and also strive more to honor my husband biblically. Working on myself ; I can tell has changed the way my husband treats me and responds to me. Thank you both!

Wonderful! I love this and the other one too. I listen to your videos during my workouts! My husband wasn’t a Christian for the majority of our relationship. By the grace of God, he accepted Jesus on our 7th year! 🎉 It has now been 10 years for us. This year, our eldest son died and it has only strengthened both of our faith. I’m not sure that would’ve been the case had he not come to God a few years prior. God’s timing is immaculate.

I love the messages here! There’s a lot of truth. It is important to note that you can and should still have healthy conversations regularly about what you need from each other so that you can meet each others’ needs. Women don’t have to silently hope and pray. Prayer is powerful, but so is acting and speaking in kindness.

Some much of showing true love is doing things we do not necessarily FEEL like doing in the moment... But its so worth it in the long term... And it goes so much further than our words do... but in the right moments words are good too... when my husband seems stressed by work or nor loving it i try to find a moment to thank him for providing for us so well Love the direction your channel has taken.. 😊

It’s awesome to take responsibility for being Christ like to your spouse, 100%. However, biblically , a lot of these things start with the husband- you said, “A lot of these things start with the wife.”God’s will is that husbands reflect Christ, and Christ is the initiator, He is the example of love that wives respond to with love in return. In Christian culture, I notice often just how much pressure is put on women to hold the relationship. Husbands are called to be the head, the head is the source of the body. I wish more husbands would see the seriousness of their role as a husband SO that women could respond. This video series seems to assume women are generally constantly nagging, abrasive - laughing at their husbands prayers to their face? Does that really happen with people? Am I missing something? That’s insane. I like to believe the best in women, especially Christian women. No one is perfect, but to laugh in someone’s face as they are praying speaks to a more serious issue that’s not related to the gender of “woman.” I’m thankful I have a wonderful husband; and I will not stop being Christ to him if he ever were to stop being Christ to me. However it is incorrect to say that it starts with the wife and we need to be cautious of putting traditional views (which often blame the woman for everything, even if they are the ones getting abused)- over scripture.

Hi Milena, thank you for making these videos. I’ve been a single mom for 11 years I use to write letters to my future husband but stopped due to pain from past relationships, but as of recently The Lord is softening my heart and placed a desire in me for marriage. He has me praying for my future husband every Tuesday and not just my future husband but my daughter’s and son’s future spouse. So these videos are helping me to prep myself to be a godly wife who is intentional about the things I do for my future husband. Thank you for you faithfulness in the Lord and being a example of how a godly holy wife should carry herself. 😊❤

Hearing about the woman who’s husband turned to Christ after 67 years was encouraging to hear. ❤ 1 Peter 3:1 says, “wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without talk by the behavior of their wives”. 6:09 this is so true! My husband (who is a minister) is the one who nags, complains, etc and is not affectionate unless he wants sex which he thinks/calls “quality time” so as a result I emotionally shut down, it’s so confusing to think that I’m suppose to ignore my feelings and still give my body. 😫 other than his attitude & situational affection, he’s a good husband.

you don't ever have to ignore your feelings and "give your body". your feelings are valid and if you ignore them for too long, the situation will only get worse. maybe talk to your husband? if you are afraid this talk might turn into a fight (which sometimes is also fine, because humans have complex emotions and anger is often triggered when we are/feel vulnerable - which is good, because a marriage the the place for vulnerability!) I encourage you to look into nonviolent communication. Also choose the right time and place to talk about this issue. I hope this helps and good luck! xx

It's sad how so many "godly" men are the ones mistreating their wives. This is not the first testimony I have heard like this. I sympathize with you sis. Would he be willing to go to a Christian marriage counselor? Prayer and fasting on your end is needed in this matter, along with communication with you husband about what you need from him. Nagging and criticism kills the intimacy on so many levels

I watch these videos and read the comments and I just think “how do I get a spouse?” I pray about, yet I’ve been single for years and nothing really seems to change. This content is beautiful and heart warming. As a 31 year old single mom (my sons father left when he was 1.5). This just makes my heart ache because I long for this but it’s just not in Gods will. Idk how people get so lucky to find men of God at such a young age who love and admire them and put them in a position to raise children, rather than work full time. I’ve never been blessed with a man who either A. Truly loved me or B. Had any ambition for the future it’s always one or the other. So many married couples who love each other in the comments, how do you even meet people nowadays? Asking for a friend. Prayers if anyone comes across this comment. I found the Lord much later in life and now I fear being alone forever or not being able to get married young enough to have a family and children. May God bless all of your marriages I pray peace and prosperity over all of your families.

For your Maker is your husband, the LORD of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. Isaiah 54:5. I recently listened to a woman who went through a long season of singleness and still is, and prayed to God about it, and his response was this verse. It is different, buut, there is no better husband than him! While you are waiting for a human husband, ask God what it looks like for him to be your husband. I hope you will find encouragement and know that you having faith later in life was in God's perfect timing!

Lol My husband’s behavior, words, and actions should absolutely impact how I treat him. The same should apply to me. Being a man in the relationship does not mean anything. Husband and wife are equal and should be treating each other with the same respect and love.

@@globetrotter3956 thank you so much, I really needed to read this after finishing the whole video. Man and woman are not only of equal value but deserve the same respect, freedom of choice and "honour".

I do have a quick question you mentioned earlier that we should stick by our partners, even when we feel as though they don’t deserve it. How do you go about it when a sense of trust has been broken in any way it could be infidelity, spiteful words, or even lack of honesty, how do you continue to serve your partner and when do you know it’s enough to draw the line.

I honestly feel like only you would know that. Have you prayed about it? Is your spouse doing everything he can to try to fix things or does he have a sense of he doesn't care? There are so many factors that play into a situation like this.

Good points! ...but I am not sure how these things are based on the wife or start with the wife. Especially when we look at the relationship between Christ and The Church, when the husband is called to lead ..and when initially men 'lead' 'start' the chase as it pertains to courtship/dating. Each person should play their role ..but I don't see it as starting or lasting with the wife. Based on order I imagine it be moreso the husband ...or the person who is called / lead to ...make the change because it can go either way.

I was literally getting ready to type this message! It doesn't start with the wife, it continues with her. The husband has given the instruction to love...period! Lead in love and grace and she will follow in love and grace.

The part of respecting your spouse even if you’re not happy with them is kinda like the structure in the military or government. You respect the rank like you would a commanding officer or the president. After all why would you disrespect someone you chose to call your husband or wife.

Even if a wife is nagging, even if she is contemptuous, immature, and failing, her husband, by the grace of God, can and ought to love. He can sit down, look her in the eyes, and listen to her, even if she isn’t a good wife. Men are capable of loving their wives even when they are not lovely. The same goes for women, too! So long as there is not abuse or danger, there needs to be consistent love outstretched, spiritual/emotional/physical intimacy initiated, and consistent effort to be the spouse and person that God calls us to be. God gives us all we need. He is our strength, our protection, and our joy. If you are experiencing strain or hurt in your marriage, I am so sorry. That is not how it’s supposed to be. Stay strong in the Lord and remember that he cares for you. That he sees you. That he will uphold you. Continue on in love and prayer❤️

Hi Milena, would you be able to explain if we need to submit spiritually to our husband? And if so, what does that look like? My husband is absolutely a leader in every way and I LOVE IT but I struggle with the idea of submitting spiritually. I'm not sure why - I don't feel threatened by his leadership, it's more that I don't agree with some of the conclusions he's come to about scripture. I'll use an extreme example: let's say a husband thinks that giving a child a smack as a punishment is acceptable but the wife does not agree with hitting children. What should the wife do if she clearly feels like that is wrong? Submit and be quiet about it and trust that her husband knows best? Does she have to correct the children in the same way? Or should she challenge him and object to hitting children? (Without it being naggy) Would love to hear your thoughts about this and it would really help me.

My heart hurts so bad watching this video because I've been praying for years for my husband to have these breakthroughs. Please keep me in your prayers - That I can keep a good heart to believe "If God can do that in/through Jordan, He can do it in my husband," instead of feeling comparison. God is no respecter of persons, what He can do for one, He can do for another, right? I want so badly to be encouraged by seeing godly husbands, instead of feeling deep sorrow that my desire for that is unmet.
