This is for anyone who struggles with endometriosis reading this- I have found something that helps allot!!!!!!!!!!!! Start drinking two cups of dandelion tea daily, one week before your period. It is crazy how much this helps: I have tried everything for the past 20 years; hope you try it; and it works. The reason this helps so much, dandelion supports the liver, the liver is what detox’s everything. You may have to do this for a few months to start to see results. good luck💖

Mahriah Grosh that’s when I have min too! My endo pains started two days ago; only pain for about 15 mins. I’ve been drinking the dandelion tea; and noticed when I do get my period the first day is really bad; and now the second is not bad like it use to be. So it really does help. Hopefully yours helps too.

I found this video 3 years ago when suffering from extremely painful (and nauseous) periods, and it convinced me to look at my diet. I decided to go gluten free and it COMPLETELY changed my periods- I stopped having the severe pain and being sick. 3 years later, my life is so different, and I just wanted to say thank you for this video ❤

I struggled with extremely painful endometriosis that left me in the hospital multiple times a year. I would break out in cold sweats and hot flashes and my bodily felt like it was giving birth. Out of desperation, I stopped eating meat after already having been gluten, dairy free , and organic for almost two years. THAT CHANGED MY LIFE!!!!!! I no longer have these painful extreme episodes every period. I only deal with feelings of stagnation and sharp uterine pain after standing too long. There seriously needs to be more research about the no meat aspect! The results don’t lie!

I just want to share: I was just diagnosed with ENDO eight days before my 35th birthday after a two year battle with four different special and finally exploratory surgery. I want other women to know that I didnt have the normal pain during my period or other “endo” symptoms at all just light and some cramps. My pain was always on my right side mid ab and lower right back. The pain hurt the most when sleeping or any pressure on the right side. I was so frustrated with all the unnecessary test and even Doctors telling me it’s nothing. I just grateful that we now know the root of the problem and care start a plan for healing. So listen to your body (coming from a healthy women for the past 34 years)!

Please DO NOT recommend flax seeds for patients with endometriosis. As an estrogen-driven disease, phytoestrogens, like those found in flax can be harmful and prevent us from achieving the goal (reducing estrogen). It can also interfere with some oral contraceptives, which people with endo are often prescribed to suppress the growth and progression of the disease, also 100% necessary to slow endometrial growth after surgery. Even still, thank you for the discussion and other nutrition content!

Thank you for this video very informative 💜 I’ve been battling endometriosis for a couple years now, well I believe I have it. I’m getting a laparoscopi this year. I have my follow up with my doctor this 7th of June to talk about that. But I’ve been in pretty dark days yesterday and today has been bad. My diet has been good tho that’s a plus. I recently eliminated gluten and dairy and soy last February this year. Prior to that I was all ready vegetarian no caffeine and eliminated processed sugars since I have PMDD (AKA PMS ON STEROIDS) so I had to change a lot of things. But now this pain is debilitating, depressive very hard. I control my PMDD but this pain is something else. I don’t exercise as much as before because I just feel like I had surgery. But I do go for long walks 10k steps before 12pm or 11am it’s been a routine of mine. Also I do modified workouts that are not to intense cause I miss exercising and can get bad anxiety. I’m thankful that you guys put a lot of information in this video, I’m definitely going to look into all of these. Very much appreciated you girls rock 🤟🏼💞🤟🏼

Endo made my period the worst thing. I had pain within pain. So I robbed Frankincense carteri essential oil for 2.5 weeks and I never had Endo pain again. I also did a colon cleanse and water fasting. Furthermore I added omega 3 and B12 to help reduce inflammation and I only got pain for 2 days after having pain for 6 days since I started having my period. So the Frankincense stopped my Endo pain, the fasting and supplements reduced my period pain significantly.

@@orangeforever3341 Endometriosis excision is done laparoscopically under general anesthesia. Ideally the surgeon should make at least four incisions. Any fewer and typically they are unskilled in endometriosis surgery and they are less likely to visualize it successfully since they do not have as much access to the abdomen. The surgery does not require you to kneel or require you to have legs. I was put under general anesthesia and placed on a rotating table after I was unconscious so the surgeon could move my body how he needed to remove the endo.

How do you try one of the time like how long do you take it for before you know if it’s working because I feel like it could take one year and you would only maybe be able to try 4 supplements if you do it on a three month cycle. Are there any supplements that are combined into one any specific brand do you recommend? I didn’t see the link for the castor oil either. Thank you.

Ovarian cysts can actually be a result of endometriosis though..this is how my Gyno diagnosed me with it ..haven't had the surgery yet but he said he is 96% certain. I had 2 cysts and one that ruptured . And I have always had the worst period pains .
@PrettyWell

Thank you for your comment. Both Endo and cysts occur as the result of hormone imbalance. Working on hormone imbalance and liver health/detox/inflammation pathways can really greatly reduce menstrual pain. So hope this content helps you.

I'm sure OP is long gone but I do want to leave this info for others. Endometriosis does not occur as a result of hormone imbalance. It makes its own hormones so the thought of it being caused by "imbalance" is nonsensical at best. Diet or hormonal treatment such as birth control or GnRH agonists can reduce or in some cases eliminate symptoms, but don't address the underlying disease. Ovarian endometriosis is a specific sub-type that generates the characteristic endometriomas or so-called "chocolate cysts." Endometriomas do not respond to diet or hormone therapy and are best addressed surgically. Since they are associated with Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis (or DIE as it is more commonly known), it is best if they are handled by a surgeon who specializes in wide excision of endometriosis and has experience with complex cases.

Hi, what is your stance on Dioxin being a cause of endometriosis in rhesus monkeys and therefore humans? Dioxin being found in high fat foods cause it lives there longer- so dairy, red meat and fish being the worst sources that we should avoid.

Hi just watched this video yesterday and went out and got some high quality organic milk thistle since I had been drinking before I found out I have endometriosis. I started taking it yesterday and got a migraine, so this morning I looked up the side affects and WebMD says you should not take milk thistle if you have endometriosis, since the herb mimics estrogen? Now I'm confused should I stop taking it?
@a.sweetpeac.2281
@a.sweetpeac.2281 4 жыл бұрын
Wow, I completely forgot about this also! My doctor recommended a supplement with Milk Thistle for liver health, but my estrogen levels are already high. I guess you could take it & then see if you have any side effects that sound like excess estrogen/estrogen dominance.

Hey Drs You have just made my day. You did your video in simple English and you explained everything so well I have severe Endo, attached on lungs, diaphragm and everywhere basically. I would really like it if you give a talk around deposits on organs just to know if this could be fatal Thanks
@user-vg8ez9cu6u
@user-vg8ez9cu6u 3 жыл бұрын
Yes it can be fatal. These adhesions can even go up into the brain. Please go and get yourself checked out by a doctor! You need to have the tissue removed.
@CM-zw4hx
@CM-zw4hx 2 жыл бұрын
Endo around the lungs and diaphragm can cause spontaneous pneumothorax of the lung(s), meaning they can collapse without warning, and adhesions on the diaphragm can cause it to tear or not work effectively. Ideally you should be seen by a surgeon that specializes in complex cases that has a cardio thoracic surgeon they can call in to assist with the Endo in your chest cavity. For distribution of endo such as that, I personally would not delay treatment. Best of luck to you. Please join Nancy's Nook Endometriosis Education on Facebook and find a qualified surgeon, even if you have to travel.

We have both used Vitex for many of our patients with endometriosis to help balance estrogen dominance and/or to support progesterone. HOWEVER, it is very individual and you should seek out the care of a Functional Medicine or Naturopathic Doctor for individual care. Thank you so much for commenting.

Hi I didn't hear back about my comment referring to the milk thistle which you guys have as a suggested herb under a video for healing endometriosis. There's many websites online stating it mimics estrogen and should never be taken if you have endometriosis!!
@PrettyWell
@PrettyWell 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Noel, thank you for your question. Milk thistle does have some estrogenic properties but it also helps the liver do it’s work of hormone metabolism detoxification and clearance more efficiently. There are also many other herbs and nutrients that help support liver detox and hormone clearance if you would prefer to choose other options for care. Estrogen is not the enemy here. It is a more complex conversation. Hormone testing, detox pathway testing, genetic testing would be very helpful in determining which treatment directions are best for each individual.
