It's simple. If you can't work on your car , you're lost. 1. Replace clutch 2 . Rebuild rear differential 3. Rebuild engine 4 . General maintenance 5. Drive like you know what you're doing I already know most of you can't do this. Once you do these things, you'll enter a level of manliness that no internet comment can touch.

Wow, thank you Pat Stedman and 21 Studios. This is one of the deepest and most impactful messages I’ve ever heard. So many men need this. I feel that many men don’t know how to be men because they have a trauma blocking their development into manhood. You have articulated something that I did recently and let me know that I was on the right track. The effects were almost instant. Thank you for your content here.

"Reconsile with your farther" what if you don't have one?
@wannabecarguy
@wannabecarguy 2 жыл бұрын
Probably because nobody has a " farther". But seriously in your mind you have an image of your father. Come to terms with that image. That's all you can do.
@PatStedmanCoaching

Write "him" a letter anyway. Share all your feelings - pains, unmet needs, regrets, anger. Then burn it. The idea is to address the wound caused by him. And then take it to the "higher" father. For many men, this ends up being God. But you can also understand it in the sense that we have within us our father, and by reconciling with the archetype of the father we come more into alignment ourselves. Our father is in other words us. I hope this isn't too confusing. The initial sentence stands as a practical approach in dealing with it. Be well, brother.

10 things to quit for all Strong Men: 1. Caring about what others think 2. Not believing in yourself 3. Not experimenting different ideas / solutions for problems (life&business) 4. Not prioritizing your health 5. Wasting your precious time 6. Wanting something (instead write a plan and work towards it) 7. Chasing meaningless relationships 8. Wasting or draining your energy from beating your meat 🥩 9. Wasting time by scrolling social media 10. Nailbiting/nailpicking habit for good (if you do it - consider stopping it as it makes you mentally weak + affects your confidence and all other areas of your life!) Take it easy and I hope you found one thing helpful in this list...........

I need advise; n this. Mt nephew has a narcissistic father who was abusive physically with their mother and emotionally with his sons. They do come to me from time to time to r advice as their dad is a douche canoe. Im assuming the reconciliation with the father is more internal than external; n thse cases but does anyone have advice on what i can tell them. What they need to hear regarding their relationship with their dad and how to pursue closure regarding the abuse?

@@Lizpolygigiblissgirl again please read my other reply. Ive witnessed the abuse. Ive been stepping up for these boys for almost a decade. Im the man they can't me to and trust not their dad. Hes a complete waste of space. His family has disowned him. He's beaten his wife. Locked her up ina sub basement. Threw rocks at his oldest when his oldest tried to get away from him when he tried to protect his mother. Your abject dismissal without any questions first i guess sums up why your here. Out job as men is to protect and support . And here you are turning the other way. Get info first. A man does not make emotional snap judgements. Man up and learn to be what God meant you to be. Not an emotional uninformed fool.

@@Lizpolygigiblissgirl apparently a previous response did not actually post. Hes been physically abusive. I was present when he threw my sister in law across a room. He was also arrested for kidnapping and false imprisonment . His trial starts the 14th of Feb. Get information vefore you jump to an emotional decision. Your a man. Act like one.

@@everythingisupsidedown9593 cop out answer. Grow a pair and protect the women in your life. Get information before you judge. You act like one of those guys who are but hurt you cant score a woman of character to marry or raise your children. And; f you have i hope you teach them to be slower to judge and quicker to inquire. Your lack of desire to help a fellow man who is trying his best to fill the shoes of a pathetic excuse of a man speaks volumes of the job your parents did for you and what you would do for those who rely on you.
