Idk if u gonna see this but I wanted to say that just now Whi,e I was watching. Not even halfway through the video and then suddenly the video changes to "following Jesus ruined my life". I'm not gonna lie, when i watched this at first I thought to myself "Well I already know how to hear God's voice clearly." But He knew better. For a long time I viewed the Father almost as this entity that was robotic and without emotion. I knew that He loved me but i didn't truly see that He loved me because I viewed Him in an incorrect way. Anyway, after I saw this video, I prayed that God would speak to me so that I might better know Him and how He views me (especially because I think He viewed me less because of my sins), and after I prayed that, He showed me Himself. He looked somewhat like Jesus but with white hair. I was confused at first because I was expecting a verse to pop in my head or something along those lines, but instead He showed me Himself. After this I was thinking to myself "What verses could back this up?" and then the Holy Spirit dropped John 14:9 into my mind "He who has seen me has seen the Father." Then it clicked, I always viewed God the Father so robotically and distant from me while Jesus was the one who had emotion, who was close to me and who loved me. However God shiften my thinking in that moment, He was saying to me that I am able to see who He is, His character, and His love for me displayed in and through Jesus.

Honestly the fact that I can just sit anywhere and say « Dear God…. » it’s amazing I was thinking about this the other day asking God if He actually has time to listen to all my ranting, random thoughts etc. Like maybe my msg is first censored by God’s PR or something like that 🤣 which is definitely not true. We have such a privilege to talk with the Creator when ever we are want and He is always right there listening. Yet we don’t use this privilege. My mental health has got to me deeply to the point I started to drink so much and I was so lost and confused and wanted to take a route I didn’t want to take or end my life. God really took all my pain away when I was going through withdraws and started reading more about my lord in savior and prayed everyday and everynight when I was in pain and had to be open to myself but never felt so alive ever since I started talking to him when he listen to my prayer for a better rest when I was going through so much pain. I’m just glad I picked up that Bible and started reading that day when I was going through it
