I use this technique with my stamp positioner with good results. I simply stamp my image with colored ink, clean the stamp, then leave the stamp and paper in place and stamp again with the Versamark before sprinkling with clear embossing powder and heat setting. I especially like to emboss my sentiment this way; it gives it such a classy effect. Thanks for sharing this idea!

What a great idea, have never thought of using versamark and ink together. Definitely going to try this. Have been subscribed for a good 18 months but this is the first time I have commented. A viewer from Down Under :-)

Wonderful video!!! I do not know if you guys know, but you can make your own versa stamp with a blank stamp add a little bit of glycerin and that is all you need. The glycerin makes the embossing powder stick to whatever you stamp!! I learned this from the Frugal artist, Crafter? Look for her video, she also tells you how to make your own stamp ink with gouache paint and glycerin.

Love this technique, but I never use Versamark. Water-based ink, and most other inks, will emboss beautifully with clear powder only. I always pick up my CS while heat embossing too. The air from the heat tool needs somewhere to go and I'd rather have it heat my image than heat up my grid mat. It traps the air if you don't pick up your CS and the warping is much, much more noticeable. Your cards and projects are so cool, unique and I really enjoy your vids.
