Thank you for this video. I don't have a sewing machine so will do mine by hand. I did the same thing you did. I bought a curtain panel on sale and it was 82 inches long... so I have to cut the excess fabric off first. I think the idea of hanging the curtains up reverse side facing you while you mark with taylor's chaulk is a super idea. I hope I can do as good a job as you did.

Amazing techniques, thank you! Yet I am struggling to do it, I mean when is supposed to stitch the straight stitches, the top thread doesn’t catch the under thread, although test sewing the blind hem on a piece of the same fabric comes out fine. Already tried to adjust the tension, still the same problem. I have no ideea what to adjust next.

I know this video is too old but I just want to say that your curtain rod should be installed lower so light can still come in even if your curtains are closed at eye level. And 2 panels will make it nicer.

This is not the correct way to do a blind hem.

You are not using blind hem stitch correctly. You are confusing people who wants to learn
