Hello gorgeous, I had to tell you!! I tried this you can see I commented a month ago. It sucks for me. Terrible. Okay since then and before that I have tried every freakin thing for large pores! I can get them presentable but I've never been happy with them. And then most times the stupid dots just show on my nose with makeup in them! I've tried every primer, makeup, powder!! Okay so guess what? I found my holy grail! I wish i found it sooner because it's so flawless. I mean never better my whole life. What is it? Pore fessional! I can't believe how wonderful! Love love love!! Looks better than it ever did. FINALLY!! I just wanted to tell you. Maybe you did this one? idk. Have a great day!

I tried this last week from another of Wayne's vids ... I really 'pushed' the foundation into the skin and then applied a light powder which I also 'pushed' gently into the skin for that 'flawless' look but I have to say I don't like this very 'dry matte' look but I had to try it to find that out. I'm not 20, 30, 40, 50, or even 60 years old. I am 71 and I live in South Florida so, for me, I prefer a lighter and more creamy dewy look and feel. When I look at celebs whose makeup I 'love', it's never Kim K or anyone who looks very matte and contoured ... I adore JLo's soft dewy look and that's what I strive for with as little makeup as possible to achieve a 'flawless glow'. I played with all the contouring, concealing and highlighting but I didn't like this 'look' on my face & skin so I will use very little of these products along with a dewy liquid foundation, blush, bronzer and apply all of Wayne's tips which I love and continue to watch all the time. As Wayne says all the time, "it's just makeup" and I love to create and have fun but I have to decide/know what looks best on me. Rock on, Wayne ... I ADORE YOU!

Linda Vastardis If you want dewy skin try using cc cream instead of foundation. It’s so much lighter and hydrating and easier to cleanse at night. I just use my fingers in pat&short drag motions and it’s so much easier and more efficient than brushes and beauty blender...

My daughter got me into Goss videos. I have learned a few things. As we age not only are there newer products but different ways to apply them. I have very light skin so any thick dark foundation makes me look dirty so I use CC cream but after using powder it works real good. Also I use Elf products when I can they cost less. And since you live in Florida always wear sunscreen so you have fewer wrinkles/dry skin. Baby oil applied after showering and before drying deals in moister plus it's light. I have learned over the years, fifty years. Oh you like dewry I like glitter. lol

Apply tomato juice on face every day. Let it dry and keep it on 30 minutes. Then wash it off. Your pores will shrink pronto. By far the best remedy for large pores that I've tried. You can apply the juice by rubbing half frozen tomato on face and when it softens, squeeze the juice directly onto your face.

There is a trick I learned from a youtube tutorial that I have been doing that I have seen results from. You use a soft brush when applying any of your moisturizer or primer. You see results after repetition of doing this technique rather than after one try. I like that there is a make up technique for this problem though because I didn't know that you could!

I have been using 6, SIX, 6 SEIS!!!!!! primers before I use my foundation. I have swimming pools on the apples of my cheeks. First I use pores no more, (I press it in with my fingers only where the swimming pools are) then I use pixi's primed and poreless, then milani prime perfection, then make up forever's smoothing primer, then elf's poreless face primer, finally I top it with Mally's perfect prep primer! RIDICULOUS! and I worry constantly about my pores getting gunked up - so today I am going to try your method on one side and mineon the other. I hope yours is better buz all that product in my pores!!!! EEEEK!!!! I am VERY careful to deep clean my face at night but STILL........ I HOPE THIS WORKS FOR SWIMMING POOLS!!!! Wayne you are my favorite Englishman! ...well Jonathan Rhys Meyers is my fave but he is originally from Scotland I think so ..... EDIT - SO I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY HUBBY! I TOLD HIM I HAD TO ORDER THIS BRUSH.. When I told him the price - He said ABSOLUTELY NOT! SO, I told him how much money it would save o product in the long run, how much happier I would be, (I complain about my pores all the time) etc. etc. and I ended the conversation with him with him sayig... Ok, Dot, just get it...... I WON!!! - going to purchase RIGHT NOW! Tra la la Wayne Goss!!!!!) Now if you could just give me great reasons for every other brush..... LOL

Thank you, Wayne :). My large nasal pores are the bane of my existence on my face! The second problem is broken capillaries (thank you Biore Pore Strips in the late 90s). I learned a similar technique from Stephanie Lang, and though her makeup looks gorgeous, it's too heavy for needs. She advised pushing in the foundation with stippling, using the Sigma buff and blend brush. Not too bad, but it's like my makeup either looks cakey at first and then I get into my car and see how horrible it looks later...dots of foundation without it covering the skin :(. I've started using Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant, her clinical 1% retinol, and just recently ordered the 9% BHA boost treatment. I hope these help because they are expensive. I figured that I have wasted so much money trying to find the best foundation for this problem, only failing miserably, so I might try to correct the problem and see what happens. Thank you for recommending Paula's Choice products as they do seem to be brilliant...fingers crossed! One important question: When it comes to pushing the makeup into the pores, do you prefer liquid or cream foundation. I know that you like RCMA and used it here, but would this technique work better with one texture over another? Thank you for your helpful, funny, and simply awesome videos!

You've done another one of these hide large pores tutorial before using a white goat brush and worked it into the skin. Do you still use that technique or has this replaced it? The problem I find with this technique is as a person who uses Retin A and has very dry skin, using a technique like this seems to only disturbed the skin more causing all those horrid little flakes to come up and make my foundation look terrible. It looks wonderful on you. I really like the pressing of the powder into the skin too. It makes the skin look flawless. You're a miracle worker!

I've seen an old video of you talking about this technique , and I've been using it for years now .. I just wanted to say : I know it's only makeup , but I've always been self-conscious about my large pores and I did everything to try to get rid of it but nothing worked , you have no idea how much you've helped to boost my self confidence to the roof and I'll always be grateful for that .. All the love to you , Thank you so much Wayne

Will be trying this for sure. What will be great is my under eye area filling up with wrinkles and foundation is starting to amplify them help please Wayne. For those wanting to know how to clean your pores at the end of the day, this is what I do. I either use cleansing water or a gentle cleanse then I'll do a second cleanse with a cleanser that has AHAs in it which is a glycolic acid this gives a deep cleanse. Don't forget to use a toner and a moisturiser as well. You can also purchase one of those hand held face scrubs that has a rotating brush head. I have a massive difference in my skin when I use AHAs.

the claresonic works so well if you're able to get one I'd highly recommend it. if not I found that using harsh exfoliators made things worse for me so I would steer clear from them. The best products were foaming face washes like Cliniques (sounds expensive but the foaming one isn't it also helped with my cystic acne)

Hi Wayne!!! I agree with you and I have said this for years, EVERY SINGLE FOUNDATION I've ever used makes me look so old and makes my skin look cakey. IVE TRIED SO MANY I CANNOT COUNT. And no matter the price, they all are just awful for my skin, others are stunning in foundation!! Powder foundations work really well for me for the most part. I dont wear it everyday though. Only on occassion. In my opinion, I find the higher the price the worse the formula and the older I look. Thank you for this information Wayne!! Enjoy your day!!

before i mention one thing that did magic for me, just a reminder to drink lots of water and to find a mousturizer made for dry skin. OKAY the magic, i use liquid foundation and put a bit of argan oil in it each morning, just mixing it on my hand. argan oil works rly well for my skin and it keeps it soft and smooth all day. i recommend trying it, argan oil isnt too expensive and a small bottle that lasts for a long time ^u^

I had this problem too, then I started using cerave pm (not am!) facial moisturizer, all day everyday. my skin has never felt so hydrated in my entire life. like before, it would literally flake off moments after I finished my makeup and it was so frustrating, but that moisturizer has been a god send.
