If you have a user account that you want to keep hidden so that nobody can see the account name when they log into their own account on the computer, you can easily do so. With a quick registry edit, you can hide the user account from the Windows log on screen as well as the Start Menu. This will still keep the user enabled but just hidden from view. You can quickly have the user account shown again as needed but editing the registry entry.
