Thank you for that. I was confused when I watched your pianola video, as you mentioned hinges a few times, and I wasn't sure what you meant. After seeing this video, I realize I know what it means as I have done it before for my large journals. But, the way you do it is so much easier (folding in the middle first, adding a little glue, sewing). I love it. Tfs

Thank you for this video. Now I can buy some of the single page digital journal kits that I was afraid to buy because I didn't know how to get them sewn into the journal.

So that's how to do it! I LOVE THIS!! Thank you so much for showing how to do it. I was resigned to the fact that since I had never seen anyone else do it, it must not be a viable way to make a full page out of small ones. Thank you for this!

Thanks Pramita, I am doing well. Definitely give them a go, they are very easy. You can use the same concept to hinge smaller pieces to your journal pages and make flip outs. X

You need to run a fan when you're using that type of glue. Thank you for this tutorial I could not think of how to do this to save my life😂

This is a great idea, thanks for sharing. I've just got a sewing machine for sewing paper, but having trouble getting the tension right. Wondered if you have any problems sewing paper?

Thank you Amanda. No, I haven't had any troubles with sewing on paper but maybe put a new needle in it and rethread the machine and see how that goes. Sometimes that is all it takes. x

Hi Silvia, I use the 12” Tim Holtz cutter. It is a little bit pricey but well worth the investment. Xx

Beautiful. I'm surprised you use cardstock for the strips, but very durable, and sure love the stitching! Those ephemera pockets are beautiful.

Thank you Julie. I probably use coffee dyed paper more so for my hinges but have used care stock as well before. I don’t find that it makes the journals too bulky. If I was hinging all my pages, I would definitely only use copy weight paper for the hinges though. X

Hi Patricia, so each of these pages I have hinged to go in to a signature. They would be combined with many other papers and then added to a journal. I hope that makes sense? xx

I need lots of help to make these albums I have made quite a few but have had no classes I'm not real confident I live in your city What type of glue to buy is always my problem

I also use Crafters Choice glue (clear tacky glue) from Spotlight. For glue sticks I love the Kaisercraft glue stick which will be in my web store soon. Hope this helps. X

Paper Inspirations i found them today and bought some papers 12 for $5 Not a lot of papers like they used to have but the girls said there will be more coming in I also went to Spotlight and bought the glue, you suggested Im trying to make a couple of journals for my daughters birthday following your methods I will certainly be looking forward to some classes with you next year and thats not far away

I don't know how you guys are getting your sewing machines to sew over the glue. I have tried it dry & all it messes the machine up badly.
