I have been having terrible hip pain for several years. Have treated it with NSAIDS and PT and also a previous cortisone shot in the bursa (outside) of hip. My pain was mostly in the groin on waking. Felt like it was catching and giving way. After increasingly bad pain, I had this shot today. Although I was able to feel some pressure, it really wasn't bad. So far, I feel a lot better. I recommend it!

Can somebody please explain, why I should turn the probe like this? To me (who performs Ultrasound of the abdomen mainly) it is not understandable, why i should face the acetabulum of the right hip on the left side of the screen. Like this it is inverted and makes it harder to navigate/infiltrate. Is it really just because of a tradition? Or is there any sense behind this? I really want to understand why.

I get left hip joint severe pain when walking more then 4KM.It is getting worse after my age 30. How can it be treated??? Iam so sick of it.
