My Dad taught me to shoot, how much lead to give a bird. His answer was always the width of a five bar gate! Worked it out for myself. Great video Rob. Cheers.

Really helpful, thank you. Had my first big shoot day yesterday. Never seen anything like it. 50-60 mph birds in a ferocious wind. Guy standing with me fizzing with excitement said you’ll never see better birds! Learnt loads on the day and much to practice for next year!

Interesting video having shot at some of the best game shoots in the country in around north Yorkshire and I agree with most of you what you say , however I would recommend to anyone to any bird going to the right or left of your peg to keep shoulder up with the bird or you will miss probably underneath or behind dropping your shoulder on the shot will almost definitely make you miss under the bird , hope this helps as x international clay shooter
