Rickie Fowler steps down into a deep bunker with a big wall to take on five shots with his TaylorMade TP5. He does everything from attacking a steep downslope with lots of bunker to cover to a ball plugged right up against the wall. He gives tips on dragging your knuckles, throwing sand behind you to open up the face, and standing square to the ball.

FYI, Ricky signed team taylormade for multi-year tp5 ball & glove since 2019. He still plays puma/cobra clubs.

Being from Louisiana I visited Bay Hill last year and their world class short game area. Was shocked how easy it was to get the ball out from almost anywhere. Different level of sand from what Im used to lol.

This is cool and all. But most golf courses, I'd assume most people play on. The sand is hard and not soft. and its completely different.

Plugged in a bunker against a high lip is a recipe for a quadruple bogey on my card 😂

If it would help your scores, you might want to consider declaring such a lie “unplayable” and taking relief. As long as your ball remains in the bunker, you can take back-on-the line relief (or otherwise drop within two club lengths of your original lie, no closer to the hole) and take a drop back away from the lip. It’ll cost you just one stroke to do that. Alternatively, if you just aren’t comfortable being in the bunker, period, you can take back-on-the-line relief back out of the bunker and hit a normal pitch shot over it and onto the green. That will cost you two strokes, but it may be worth it.

He does, he plays 12 cobra clubs atm but has a glove and ball contract with Taylormade if I recall correctly. So technically he is team TaylorMade.

Horrible camera work on the very first shot. Can't see a dang thing. Horrible camera work on most of the rest. And someone get the mushy peas out of that dude's mouth. Way to go TM.
