I mean there used to be this channel called “Tesmuk” which was awesome, great step by step visual guides for different software versions and consoles (specially the whole 3Ds 2Ds family), but I think the channel is dead now, he either got hacked or moved one, haven’t seen him in a while

Awesome tutorial, just one left question. After nodding it, can I just take the SD card out of the wii u if it's turned off download some new stuff and put it back in before turning the console on or do I need to do something to remove the SD safely?

When I use the wii mod manager and make folders on the SD card, the folder have a bunch of corrupted stuff on them, do you know why?

I'm very new to this, successfully modded the wii u, but do you have to mod the vwii separately to also play wii and gamecube games? I thought you were able to already, but I'll have to order a wii remote

In my opinion, it's way easier to do it on the vWii You can play GameCube games from the main menu of the Wii U, but you would have to inject every single game individually which would take forever

Hey thanks for the video! The guide was really easy to follow and I had no problem updating my wii from an old version of Tiramisu to Aroma Also, how do you access the Homebrew Channel for the Wii U from now on? The Mii Maker boots into the real app and the health and safety info app also loads normally.

The Homebrew channel can only be accessed through tiramisu and is not supported on aroma. Aroma basically puts all your Homebrew apps directly on your home screen. Bypassing the need for the Homebrew launcher

I'm having a bit of an issue with running Powershell on the Mii Channel file. Even when running PowerShell, the actual file does not show up in my downloads folder. Is there any quick fix for this? Also, HUGE props to your videos. I quite literally got the inkling to start modding my Wii six days ago because of your video, and have modded a Wii for my coworker AND MY WiiU in the span of a few days. You are doing a lot of nerds a serious service.

Are you running Windows? What's happening exactly? Have you tried making sure you open it as system administrator of your PC?

it seems windows by default blocks scripts now. you can open the powershell as admin, use Get-ExecutionPolicy, itll most likely show "restricted". if thats the case, you can change it to unrestricted by using Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy unrestricted -force, then run the script, and if you want change it back to restricted using the same command

@@BelowAverageGaming I ran Powershell as administrator, but when not running it normally, it will no longer just open the file and install the wad by dragging the file into powershell, I'm not sure why it doesn't work.

running the mii channel script doesnt work - can someone help me? 11:06 when i try to run it, powershell just blinks up for half a sec and instantly closes. u can see a red colored textline, but dunno what it says cause its gone so fast... I even click "open" on the security warning tab, that shows up before powershell opens the script. any ideas?

Unfortunately that seems to be the only fix for this. Rebooting your console and resetting the browser cache. I would attempt it a few more times and see what happens. Is the date and time correct on your console?

If you haven’t figured it out yet, don’t use the one with “beta” in the file name. Use the one from the link on the site he references at the beginning of the video. (Searching online, that one doesn’t have the correct file structure when extracted straight to the “apps” folder).

when i try to run the exploit i get a error that the FSGetMountSource failed and the as wasn’t properly fat 32 formatted, this happens at about what would be 12:53 in the video.

It means your SD card isn't formatted properly, if you have already formatted it to FAT32 several times, I would recommend you try a new SD card

I’m getting FSOpenFile failed. File missing /vol/external01/wiiu/payload.elf and went and reinstalled the files and still received the message. Any advice? 12:53

Try a different SD card and make sure it's formatted to FAT32

Delete the application off of your SD, reinstall it and try again

No, the compat installer is what does it. You might be able to grab it from the homebrew app store instead and see if that helps

@@BelowAverageGaming I figured it out, I don't know why I never did it before but I added tiramisu onto the thing and that solved it, I made it into Compat Installer through that and now my vWii seems good to go

Try a different SD card Make sure the card isn't too small And reformat the current card and try the steps again, Make sure you're plugging the SD card directly into the Wii U and not through an adapter. If none of that works, perhaps your SD card slot is broken

@@BelowAverageGaming The reason why I want to start fresh is because every time I load up nusspli it gets an error unsupported environment either you're not using tiramisu/ aroma on your tiramisu version is out of date red screen with those words I tried updating aroma and tiramisu but still happens
