I could really use some help!! So i have a Fifine Mic, but it plugs in with a USB So i bought a wire that has a male 3.5mm and a female USB so i could plug it in but it didn,t work because the mic needs power but the audio mixer wasn't giving it power! I also have Wireless headphones that plug in with a USB and i used the same female USB to male 3.5mm but it didnt work either! What do i do?

You need to use one end of the TRS audio cable to connect the mic headphone port, the other TRS connects to the SC3 line-in port, and then the mic still connects to the computer via USB. About the wireless headphones, the SC3 is a mixer that has no USB input port and the USB headset needs 5V power to work, the SC3 only could provide 48V or no power at all. 🙊

Hi, ive had a question. Can this be used for xbox game or party chats? Ive bought everything needed from the fifine XLR mic and 3.5mm jacks to connect the rest. I can hear myself but it doesn't project onto the xbox nor phone when i try

Sorry, any third-party USB audio devices don't work with Xbox directly. It could get complicated to get a USB mixer to work with it. First off, power up the SC3 through USB connection, then use the included cable to connect the SC3 line out port with the mic input of a headset splitter, and plug the splitter into your Xbox controller. In order to hear sound, you can't plug the headphones into the SC3 but into the headphone port of the splitter.

Um, we do want to, but there's no way to do so. Since it doesn't go with the audio theory. USB mics must need 5V power and the installation of their own driver to work, even if we can make an interface to provide just 5V power, no way we can get the driver installed on a mixer instead of a computer.

@@oosi_poosi Um, no no no. USB mics are not supposed to work with any audio mixers, and any audio mixers aren't designed for USB mics. Users get USB mics because they're easy to use and no need for an external sound card which is a mixer.

Recently bought the Fifine SC3 in hopes to connect my two pcs. i basically just want the audio from one pc into the other. I plugged the mixer into my main pc via usb and then my second with the 3.5 cable to line in. I get nothing when doing this. I tried other devices and they don’t work either. do i need something to connect a different way? usb to 3.5?

It's about the wrong cable, for your purpose, the included cable doesn't work, which is for you to send audio out from the SC3 to the other devices. While you need to feed the audio from the other computer to the SC3. So you need to find a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS cable. But if your second computer is a laptop, then you don't need to buy an extra cable, just make sure you plug the TRRS end (with three black poles) into the laptop while the TRS end into SC3 line in.

Hi there, it's just the wrong cable was used, sorry for the confusion by including a 3.5mm audio cable but not specifying the use of it. The included cable is for you to send audio OUT from the SC3 INTO your phone. But the one you need is to feed audio from your phone INTO the SC3, which is a TRS (two black poles on the connector) to the TRS 3.5mm audio cable that you need to buy.

I have a somewhat simple question, can I use it with its USB C to USB input directly to my cell phone to be able to record with the XLR microphone? Can you use this to send audio from your gaming pc to your streaming pc for a duel pc set up?

We really don't recommend using it for that purpose, it's just not built for dual setup in the first place. But if you really want to try it out, it's also quite easy to set it up. Plug the mixer to the gaming PC through USB, next, if your streaming computer is a PC, you can use the included audio cable to connect the line-out of SC3 to the mic jack of your PC. If it's a laptop, then you still need a TRS to TRRS 3.5mm audio cable. And that's all. But the problem is that when you're connecting your streaming PC with a line-out jack, you can't hear sound back from your streaming, like the Twitch notification or something. If you're connecting the mixer with a streaming PC through USB, you can send and hear audio back from it, then the problem is that you can't chat with your friends on the gaming PC or chat with them, but they hear the echo sound of the game.

I set mine up so that I can hear both my XBox and PC audio at the same time, the problem is that when I hear my XBox audio, so can everyone else in my discord, I do not want this. Is there any way to make it so only I can hear the XBox audio and it not be broadcasted through my mic? I currently have a 3.5mm jack going from my controller to the "Line In" input, much like how I had it on my GoXLR Mini.

We're sorry that it's not the replacement of the GoXLR but the Behringer UM2, so there's no way for it to work in your case. GoXLR works because it has the routing feature, while the SC3 doesn't. To avoid your friends hearing the game again, the SC3 must be connected to the gaming device with USB. But Microsoft doesn't allow third-party USB audio devices to do so.

I bought this product and its great. But my issue is I can't connect ASTRO A50 wireless to Fifine sc3, I tried Almost everything. I connected the (Line in) from the PC To the Fifine (Line out) and went to the sound control panel >> Recording >> Line in >> Properties >> Listen to the device (on) >> playback through this device >> Astro A50 Game. the mixer detects that there is sound playing but I can't hear anything. any other solution or the mixer is not compatible with the astro a50 wireless.

The fader is exclusive for the volume control of the line in the input jack because the channel of the SC3 couldn't be customized.

So I have a hyperx quad cast mic .. if I run aux from mic and aux into the “headset” mic slot I can’t access the voice changing settings and everything else. Do I need to buy an aux to xlr male and plug into the xlr slot to make it work for me?

You can do so, but it really makes no sense to do so. USB mics are built to get rid of an external sound card, and a large part that you paid for a USB mic is for its sound card. Really no need to bypass the internal one and spend the extra on an external one. Please just stick with the Quadcast or just replace the whole mic in your next upgrade.

Sorry about the issue! But what's connected through the TRRS cable, I mean the headset model that you use? An XLR to TRRS cable won't get the condenser mic to work on the headset port or barely get a dynamic mic to work.

i have both the sc3 mixer and the am8 mic. The problem i have is that the mic works fine with the usb cable, but when i try to set it up with a xlr cable it dos not. the mixer lights up that its picking up sound through the mic, and i can hear myself with the mic monitor button pressed. But nothing is going into my pc. I have SC3 set as my default recording but no sound gets picked up. i have no idea how to fix this. im on windows 11.

Sorry about this issue, have you tested out with another USB port or the other USB cable? Did you connect the AM8 through USB and SC3 through USB to your computer at the same time (could be the driver conflict, though not quite likely)? Was the level of the SC3 input turned up (by double clicking the SC3 under recording devices tab)?

@@FIFINE thanks for the response i had the usb connection going into my streaming pc and the xlr to my gaming one. i tested the xlr cable on my streaming pc and it worked. come to find out i had to unmute the xrl mic on my gaming pc in the settings. Not sure why windows muted that input but it did( im guessing cuz i at one point had both usb and xlr going into my gaming pc) all works now. thank you! love both mixer and mic!

I need help with the dual pc aspect pls I have already contacted the support line and haven't really got an answer. I have everything plugged in correctly in terms of hardware and have usb c connected to my gaming pc and the line out to the streaming pc. And I also have the headset connected to my headset line. Currently my stream is able to hear everything from within the gaming pc but I am having issues with them hearing my voice. Not sure what to do, and my mic is not muted and the gaming pc has both the playback and recording set as default for the sc3.

The setup is correct. But when you said "having issues with them hearing my voice", is it "them" referred to your teammate on your gaming pc? Since your streaming PC can hear the sound of both the mic and the game, that means the mic was working properly. The problem should lie in the setting of the input device of the gaming pc. Although you have set the SC3 as default, have you also check the level for it is not as zero both in the recording device and the software of your gaming PC?

@@HandsomeJav Tbh, it's a bit limited and complicated. But if you really want to give it a shot, you can follow the setup steps below: 1. Hook it up with your gaming PC with USB; 2. Find a TRS to TRS cable if you stream on PC, otherwise for streaming on a laptop, you can use the included cable to do; 3. Plug the TRS end into the SC3 line-out jack, and the other end into your PC dedicated mic jack or the 3.5mm combo jack of your laptop 4. Get another TRS to TRS cable to plug one end into the headphone jack of your streaming PC and the other end into the Line-in jack of the SC3 to get Twitch notifications from your streaming PC. If it's a streaming laptop, then a splitter cable is needed.

Now my only issue is I have both audios playing through my streaming laptop however they keep cutting in and out for the streaming laptop is struggling in choosing between its own audio and the gaming pc audio. And I have disabled all other audios on the streaming pc. And when playing games it is only picking up my voice and not the audio game itself.

This is a GOXLR feature that is achieved through the software. The SC3 doesn't include the software and the channel could not be customized, which is only for controlling the fixed audio signal, so we're afraid that it could not achieve your expectations.

Hi, Can someone tell me if there is a problem with my mixer or if I am doing something wrong. I connect it directly to a ps5 with the usb port. So my connections are PS5, XLR mic, and pc trough line in. But when I play a game, other people can hear the game trough my microphone, but if switch on one of the voices from the voicechangers the problem goes away. Is this right? Im having a pc in the line in so I can listen to KZfaq or Twitch in my headset while gaming.

The SC3 doesn't have the feature of computer-audio-loop, so you will only able to monitor the audio from the computer without looping it back.

Hi Mr. Plecostomus, sorry, but we're not quite sure which model that you referred to. As far as we can tell if we choose to equip it with the updated usb-c, then it's less likely that we still use the 3.5mm, which is not quite good for audio quality at least for a microphone device. So do you mind letting us know which model it is, then maybe we can find out whether it needs power from the 3.5mm port. If no, then you could use it with the SC3. Though we don't recommend doing us, instead using the budget to upgrade the mic to something like the AmpliGame AM8 with a similar price tag of a SC3 audio mixer.

Hi, would it be possible to connect speakers and a headset at the same time? I plan on switching audio output between my speakers for light gaming and videos to my headphones for heavy gaming and some immersive experiences. Rn I'm using some budget headphones but I plan on getting the Fifine H9 sometime next week

Yes, you can. The headphone port is for headset output, while the line-out jack is for the speaker. But the SC3 will send audio out to both outputs and you can't disable it. That means if you want the speaker for light gaming and videos, you need to turn the volume fader for the headphone channel all the way down.

Sorry, it's not about whether the mic is from our brand, it's about whether a USB mic is compatible with an audio mixer. We're afraid that they're not. USB mics are built to get rid of the audio mixers. Anyway, in order to use an interface or a mixer, the microphone has to be the analog type with the XLR connector.

You can connect the mixer to the microphone through XLR cable, connect the mixer to PS5 with USB, then if you want to stream on PC, you can just connect the mixer "line out" to PC with TRS to TRRS. About the headset, if you want to monitor your voice, you need to plug it in to the "headphone" jack in the back, so maybe can't support with wireless.

No no no, please don't do that. Just stick with the USB connection on your Quadcast, neither the USB mic nor any audio mixer is supposed to be used in this way, besides, most importantly, it won't work. You have already spent so much on the Quadcast, there's really no need to spend the extra that doesn't make it any better. Getting a boom arm for it would be better than trying to use it with an interface.

Hi, I'm having trouble and hoping somebody could help me. I have a simple, cheap headset that has a microphone already attached, however, I can't seem to find a way to make the microphone part work when it's plugged into this thing. I have an audio splitter so the headphone and mic inputs are separate, or I can take the splitter off and plug it into the headset slot, either way, my mic doesn't work. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to stuff like this and really don't want to have to return this or buy a different headset.

Please tell us the model of your headset, so that we can check for more details. And you don't need a splitter, because the SC3 is just built for the headset with a 3.5mm TRRS plug. Btw, did you turn up the mic volume slider? And plug the headset into the headset jack instead of the headphone jack?

No problem, we're quite clear about your question. Since there's only the digital USB connection on the Stealth 600 dongle, but it needs the analog 3.5mm output to connect the dongle with the SC3 headset port, we're afraid that you can't use your headset with the SC3.

No, we're afraid that you can't do it, since most wireless models come with USB receivers, but no audio mixer or interface accepts digital signal from the USB jack.

The SC3 could not do routing since there's no included software to support it. And it's not built to aim for the GOXLR which has 4 customizable channels, but the budget audio mixers that can be used for gaming such as the Behringer UM2. Sorry about the issue. But how did you set it up? Just plug the USB to your PC and the mic or headset into the mic jack? Without anything connected to the line-in jack? If yes, please let us know where you bought yours.

I can't seem to use my headset microphone with this device. I went through the instructions in the manual and this video tutorial and selected the fifine sc3 as the main devide for a microphone but it didn't work. I have a Sennheiser G4ME ONE PC Gaming Headset if that helps

Sorry for catching sight of your comment late! There's an easy fix for the problem, your headset is running on headphone & microphone connectors but the SC3 accepts only combo plug, so all you need to do is to get a 3.5mm 2 Female to 1 Male TRRS adapter to connect your headset with the SC3 headset jack.

Hi Fifine! I could use some support. I purchased this and would like to connect the mixer to my headset (no separate mic). I have Steelseries Arctis Pro. I have a line out and line in on the Steelseries hub. Which would I connect the SC3 to? Also, which end of the included 3.5 do I use in which port? One end of the 3.5 has a sticker that says ONLY FOR LINE OUT. Please help! I really want to use your product and not return it :(

Sorry no, as long as your headset involves a DAC, then you can't use it with the SC3. The SC3 is built to work with only analog input headsets, while the ones with DAC outputs digital signals. Even if you still can set them up together, the echo of your voice will be inevitable.

You have to plug your headset into the 3.5mm headset port of your SC3. Thus the wireless one with the USB dongle won't work, even if you can find an adapter, the dongle will just stop working.

That may be the problem with the output connection, but we're not quite sure about it. Could you tell us your setup? We would recommend connecting the gaming PC through USB while using the included audio cable to connect the line-out with the 3.5mm jack of your streaming laptop. But make sure you plug the TRS end(with two black poles) into the line-out while the other 3.5mm end into your laptop.

When using Wave DX mic, that means you only need the headphone feature of your headset to hear sound. Then just plug the DX mic into the XLR port, while the headset into the headphone jack. You can't do both is that you can plug the mic into XLR port while plugging the headset into the headset port of the SC3

Yes, the line-out is connected to the streaming pc and the headphone is connected to the SC3 monitoring port but it only could monitor the gaming pc sound. you can feed the microphone audio to the gaming PC because the SC3 is connected to the gaming PC through a USB connection.

As you can see in our reply to the comments of other customers, we really don't recommend using it for that purpose, it's just not built for dual setup in the first place. But if you really want to try it out, it's also quite easy to set it up. Plug the mixer to the gaming PC through USB, next, if your streaming computer is a PC, you can use the included audio cable to connect the line-out of SC3 to the mic jack of your PC. If it's a laptop, then you still need a TRS to TRRS 3.5mm audio cable. And that's all. But the problem is that when you're connecting your streaming PC with a line-out jack, you can't hear sound back from your streaming, like the Twitch notification or something. If you're connecting the mixer with a streaming PC through USB, you can send and hear audio back from it, then the problem is that you can't chat with your friends on the gaming PC or chat with them, but they hear the echo sound of the game.

phantom power and mic switch (condenser to dynamic) applies to the headset mic? i mean, if i accidentally power on 48v (i dont have xlr cable and stuff) it will affect my headset in some way? im afraid to accidentally turn on the 48v button and it just blow my headset idk

No, you can only get phantom power through the XLR port. No power supply from the headset jack, so it's only for headsets and you can't plug in a condenser mic with a 3.5mm jack

No, we think it's just the wrong type of audio cable that you use to feed in the audio. The included one is for sending audio out from the line-out port to your mobile or streaming laptop that has a combo 3.5mm jack. In order do what you want to send audio to the line-in jack, you need to buy a TRS to TRS 3.5mm audio cable.

We really don't recommend doing so, it's not built for that purpose, then for sure there're some drawbacks when you use it for dual PC. But if you want to give it a shot and see if you can accept the down sides: just connect USB with your gaming PC, and use the included cable to connect the line out to the mic in of your streaming PC. The drawbacks are that you don't get notifications from your streaming PC, and the audio quality is not as good as the one feeding to your gaming PC.

We don't recommend you use USB mic with SC3 mixer, even if using a converter. It may affect the sound quality or even result in no sound. SC3 mixer only supports XLR microphones and 1/4" microphone input.

DT990 PRO is a high-impedance headphone, while the SC3 output power is 8mw when the impedance is 250ohm, so it can get your headphone to work, though it's not quite suitable. If you want to use the SC3 be the headphone amp, maybe the performance is not well.

Did you mean using the boom mic of the headset as the input along with the XLR mic? That would not work, you can have either the XLR mic or the headset as the input at a time. But you can use the headset as only the output device by plugging it into the headphone jack.

I really need help, it’s kind of unrelated, but I bought y’alls fifine dynamic k688 mic, and I am currently using the usb c, in which is connected to my ps5. I have my technics headphones plugged into the mic so when I mute my mic I can still hear it and it sounds clear. But for some reason when I go to adjust the volume or talk to my friends it sounds robotic when I talk and has some popping noises. Would using a xlr instead that is plugged into a mixer and than plugged into my ps5 help. Or is there any other fixes, please help.

What do you mean by "only the microphone volume and headphone volume turn on", did you say that you can see an LED indicator moving on the level meter on top of the SC3 when you speak to the mic and play audio from your computer? How did you tell the K688 wasn't working? But the level meter of the mic on SC3 was moving when you spoke to the K688?

@@FIFINE The RGB lights, none of them turn on, the only light that turn on, but weakly was the level meter of the headphone and mic. and the level meter was not moving when i spoke, only when i turn it on. And my K688 works fine without the SC3

Well with the astro a40 mixamp, it has a aux line that goes into the back of my stream pc and then the usb that goes into the game pc so i am able to hear stream notifications as well as game audio from game pc. From the looks of your audio mixer I don't see why that cannot be done, however I am sure your team has already tried that.@@FIFINE

@@tontonie1 Sorry it's our bad missing that you mentioned the modmic, so not the m50xSST streamset, but the m50x headphone and with a 3.5mm modmic? Then no XLR adapter is needed, but the Y splitter, the one with a 3.5mm TRRS plug and two 3.5mm female ports to plug in the jacks of your m50x headphone and modmic.

hello, i’ve been trying to get audio output from my PS5 to my phone or laptop but it’s been very difficult to do so. i have a TRRS to TRRS cable which goes from line out to my phone but i can’t capture any audio output from the mixer as it’s using the phones built in microphone instead. same goes with the laptop, it doesn’t recognise the SC3 mixer instead using the microphone built in. is there a way to capture the audio output using the Line out from the mixer or is there another way?

If you're talking video recording, then you need a third-party app on your phone like the open-camera. Or did you use discord or TikTok streaming on your phone, they should work pretty fine as long as it's not about video recording. Btw, the end connected to the line out port should be TRS one instead of TRRS. As for the laptop, there's no such need to take the audio from the SC3 line out to the laptop mic input, just plug the SC3 USB into your laptop, and make sure the SC3 is the default device.

not necessarily video recording because all i want to do is to capture audio that’s coming from the PS5 to my phone but if that’s not possible then a laptop is sufficient to do so. As for now, it doesn’t capture any audio from my phone whether i place the TRRS cable to line out, line in, headphones etc and no audio can be recorded to my phone as it doesn’t recognise it and using the built in microphone in the phone instead of capturing audio via SC3 from the PS5 would getting a TRS to TRRS make it work?

You need to connect the A40 headset to the SC3 headset port, and use the included cable to plug the TRS end to the SC3 line-out while the TRRS end to the Mixamp headset port. But please lower the Mixamp input volume. The setting of the Mixamp on PC or PS4/5 remains the same. But we don't recommend buying the SC3 if you only want to use the change voice feature and already own a Mixamp. The setup will become so complicated and make not much sense.

Since the SC3 or any audio mixers are not built for USB mics, you need to keep the USB or the Yeti plugged into your computer, then connect the SC3 to your computer with USB as well, find the included 3.5mm cable to plug one end into the headphone jack of the Yeti while the other end into the line-in jack of the SC3, at last turn down the line-in volume fader, and choose the SC3 as the default input and output in your computer. It's a bit complicated in your case because the best-suited use scenario is to use the mixer with XLR mics.

Yes, it's possible, but tbh, it's a bit limited and complicated. You can follow the setup steps below: 1. Hook it up with your gaming PC with USB; 2. Find a TRS to TRS cable if you stream on PC, otherwise for doing streaming on a laptop, you can use the included cable to do; 3. Plug the TRS end into the SC3 line-out jack, and the other end to your PC dedicated mic jack or the 3.5mm combo jack of your laptop 4. Get another TRS to TRS cable to plug one end into the headphone jack or your streaming PC and the other end into the Line-in jack of the SC3 to get Twitch notifitcation from your streaming PC. If it's a streaming laptop, then a splitter cable is needed.

How do I connect this to a dj controller so I can stream off my phone?

What DJ controller model do you use? But in most cases, just find the 3.5mm or 6.5mm output jack of your controller then connect it to the line in jack of the SC3 then you should be good to go.

Sorry no, only the headphone jack. That's why the "headset" port is included in the "Mic" label. You can hear sound from the computer through the "headset" jack, but you can't hear the mic sound in real time through the "headset" jack.

@@FIFINE Can I split the TRRS plug of my headset into two, plugging the mic cable into the headset input and the headphone cable into the headphone input?

Hello fifine, is there a way to use a different headset output instead of connecting it to the SC3? The sound if slightly lower and not as clear as if I had it connected to my Razer USB headphone jack.

Have you turned up the headphone fader on the SC3?

Im running 2 things into this mixer. right now i have a line in and then the computer is going through the line out. I would like to be able to use the line in for source one and then the microphone port or headset port to run another input. That way the line out isnt always the computer the usb is plugged into. i can have 1 channel on mic and 1 on line in and can control the master with the line out. BUT i cant get anything to work going into either the XLR port or the 1/8 Headset port. ive tried 1/8 to xlr...1/4 to 1/8 and 1/8 to 1/8 inch. TRS non trs. NOTHING :(

Um we think what you're looking for is a GoXLR interface, not a mixer. An audio mixer is to mix everything up, so what's outputted to the line out is always what you get through the USB.

@@FIFINE i don’t use a mic. I’m saying basically there’s 1 mic channel and I can either plug in with the combo xlr/ 1/4 inch or 1/8 inch headset. I’m wanting to plug in another audio source. (Not a mic) why won’t it pick up any sound coming through no matter what I plug in?
