How to identify a House Sparrow nest

Жыл бұрынI observed a male house sparrow in my yard gathering nesting material and noticed he would travel directly south of me. I figured he was setting up house sleeping in my neighbor's martin houses.

I have Tree Swallows, Bluebirds, Purple Martin colony with House Wrens.. eliminated about 45 house sparrows 8 years ago in ST-1 trap, haven't seen any since last year I caught 3.

I have no idea where you live but that's pretty amazing. The more urban environment is more house sparrows and it just keep flooding in like a hole in a leaky boat.. you may be able to bail out all the water but there's still water coming in

@crzrck I'm just ten minutes north from downtown Nashville Tennessee, im in urban, almost rural, no stores, eating places around,.I have been trapping since 1993, I never let a HOSP in my yard, I trap/shoot the best I can.
