How come my sensor lights up when I connect the brown to + and blue to - without even getting something in front of the switch? Do I have faulty sensors? (All 6 I bought?)

Sorry if its too late, but you can try searching the datasheet for your sensor by looking at the sensor name thats imprinted on it. thats the only way i could find. alternatively you could try to hook it up to a power supply and try one of the two options in the video, but you could break the sensor in the process
