I was hoping you were going to show us your car, guys who enjoy diecast enjoy real cars also. Thank you for the information it's good to know, I have a few older Johnny Lightning cars but I couldn't tell you if they are Toppers or not, to tell you the truth I don't even know where they're at. Once again thank you for the information and I love your Hot Wheels room my friend it is awesome.

Do you know where the first Johnny Lightning cars were made? I do. They were made at the GRIES Dynacast company in my hometown of New Rochelle NY.. I was eleven years old in 1969 and me and my best friend used to jump into the big dumpster outside the GRIES plant at night after hours. We found many Johnny Lightning cars they threw away. Some painted and some bare metal. The plant also made those tiny tool sets you used to get in those plastic balls inside gumball machines. Tiny hammer, screwdriver, working pliers, scissors and folding knife. We were Dumpster Diving before dumpster diving was cool.

I checked and one of the ones I bought is a purple toronado and from what I can find online it appears to be a topper but now I have to find it it's burried here somewhere!

You are probably right but where I'm talking about is an antique store in a really small town in Ohio I understand your concern! How ever I have bought some treasures there cheap like the hotwheels super van with flames and others! I show the store in one of my KZfaq vidios but like I said I will look at what they have the next time I'm there and I will make a vidio showing them before I buy anything! However I am only able to get there once a month on average!
