Hi thank you for the great video. I keep getting a wide white line when I import. Can you help me. I was trying to put on edge of chip bag. Thank you

The only thing I can think off is that there may be a white border around the pattern you’re using. If so, you will need to open up the image you’re trying to use as a pattern and crop it a little to get rid of the excess white around it and then save it as a pattern again

Nice ... so how would I upload a face mask pattern? Also I want to add a image to it... I can’t find KZfaq on this topic. I’m new to photoshop and I use Cricut.. any help is appreciated. Ty

You would need a face Mack template for whatever mask you’re using. You can find those on google or Etsy and then you would do that same thing just find a pattern you want and upload that pattern and then double click on your mask template on the right side panel and add your pattern overlay to that. As for an image you would need a png image and you would just place that over your face mask template where you would want it.

@@CherelleDanae update : I got the mask pattern and I uploaded it to photoshop. I just have to figure out the steps of how to add whatever design to it whether a picture or text etc ... I know in cricut they have a slice feature where you place the image over the shape and it slices it and there is the design as a pattern. I just can’t get this photoshop lol ... I’m trying everyday watching their videos too within the app. Bueno will see .. thanks for the reply

So photoshop has the same thing it’s called a clipping mask. So you would upload your template and then place your image over your mask template. Then on the right side panel you would right click on your image that’s on top of the mask template and you would click “create clipping mask” and that will technically slice that image for you.

You click the button on the left side, usually the first one, looks like a cross with arrows. And once you click that it should bring a box around your image and you will be able to click the corners to resize the image. If a box doesn’t show up, make sure on the top that the “show transform controls” is checked

how do i find my box to choose which pattern i want? mine is not showing or poping up like yours.

Make sure you actually have the pattern option highlighted on the left side panel. If not I’m not too sure it always just pops up with no additional settings
