How to IMPROVE at StarCraft FAST!! (Macro)

If you're F, E, and to a slightly lesser extent D, it's 100% macro and mechanics holding you back. No way around it.
Video explains how to break it down working first on probes, then on probes + production, then probes + production + army movement. Once you can do that comfortably in single player you're ready to do it okay in games.
Not a sexy way to get better, and maybe not that exciting, but if the goal is getting better and you're new there really isn't anything more efficient you could do!

I know right? I really have to mentally prepare to be destroyed immediately every time, heh. Its sort of soul crushing, but I like the game enough that I go back to get my soul crushed every now and then just so I can play a human player.

For those who are very new to this rapid-fire play style, or new/returning to Starcraft after many years of absence, I recommend watching this video in 0.75 speed, he talks quickly, and will definitely use terms we are not that familiar with. Great video, reminds me about keeping that mouse moving and not slowing your expansion. (These tips are helpful for Starcraft Remastered)

Is a lot like real juggling. You don't start trying to juggle 10 balls, you start with 2, then gradually add more as you get more comfortable.

Can you comment on this what are all the build orders for all races like 0p-8p-9p and what Hotkeys are all best for Terran Zerg and Protoss and I feel like I’m always clicking to build how do I over come that play style and just use keyboard

with 0p 8p 9p he is talking about his hotkeys for his nexus so he can make probes. zerg i think you can use 5-0 as hatcherys 1-4 as army, terran im not sure but i think he said both ways will work

If practicing with zerg, how long should it take to max out supply?

They said it's roughly 11-11:30, a little more if you're Zerg. I got around 11:55 or 12+ or something on my two first trys, and I did spread the hatcheries a little bit around the map because that's how I'd hope do it in real game.

No. Brood War is free and there's 400-500 players on the Europe server, for example, every day.

Shift + F2 or F3 or F4 to hockey a screen. Try this do F2 for your main F3 for your natural expansion. Ctrl 1 for your command centre Ctrl 2 for your next command centre Ctrl 3 army Ctrl 4 comsat Ctrl 5 comsat

Make a private game online. Then start a game with 1 computer and while it’s counting down, go over and turn the computer off.

Go to muliplayer. Create a game, a private one and not a public one. Then you'll be at the top of the players and all the slots will be open. Add a computer to one slot. Hit start battle button. While the game is about to start and is counting down, go over to the computer you added, and close the slot. You will now start a game without a computer. I hope this helps!

How play without AI? Game don't launch, when i single on the map.

Good question. Should have added this to the tutorial. You need to start the game with a computer opponent. During the countdown, close the slot with the PC player. Then, when you start the game, it will immediately say you have won. Instead of clicking ok, click continue playing. @@user-gu1mj7iu4x I wouldn't even think about it that way. It just requires doing a certain amount of stuff. If you're play is very clean, you could probably do the first part on 60apm, the second part on 100-120apm, and the last part on about 150-180apm.

Work on mouse accuracy/precision, keep the hands and fingers moving at the same speed so there is no change of inertia when there are more requirements of things to be done.

Drones only you can do just fine. Then for the other stuff you can either practice with a build, or to practice general macro you can go up to like 40-50 drones first, then practice macroing but occasionally making a round of drones until you have like 70.

Watched a few of your videos now. At the beginning I always see you dragging the mouse over SUV's and command center really fast and can't tell what your doing even pausing and rewatching. Is that just trying to stay moving or are you doing something there? I'm very noob sorry.

You will already have skirmishes during 12-14 time stamp so it's ridiculous to think you should be 200/200. Also you won't be getting only units for your money, every better player will exploit that by for example - DT rush, storm drops, Reaver drops - because you won't invest into Forge or Obs - everything in units.

Dude, you may be a master at this game and you may have something of value to teach. However, your vocal delivery needs work. You come across as a bit rough - it turned me off to your content. Plus, you talk way too fast. I'm not able to process what you're saying.

Could you do one for fastest map? I feel like it would be pretty similar because even in fast is a lot of people tend to stay stuck on one base instead of moving around. I find that I win more when I build in the middle or always keep me proxy you know have one based dedicated to, mostly ground and then maybe build a second base so you can transition over to air or even you know bio to mech to air I don’t care what anybody says mass battle, cruisers, and fastest map. If use properly with special support and some in a small amount of tanks is almost unbeatable f maybe a few ghost for lockdown I don’t really like using battle cruisers on slow maps just cause they’re so expensive and they take but take too long to max out and you get pretty much slaughtered by the time you maxed out
