Myne is heavily a gaming laptop.. i only get 1-1.5 hours battery life just while readin pdfs and watching yt vids

Lift your laptop back by 1inch while doing heavy task for lower temp and fan. 13.Set a display time out .or turn off display when running tasks in background . Extras cpu amd over Intel 1080p over 4k Plugged in charging state 50-80% Use laptop in a cooler place Ditch HDD bay for large battery Watch KZfaq video in 2X.

my main battery draining issue in my victus 16 ryzen 5600h was refresh rate. It was on 144hz and i was getting so low battery life on just watching videos, around 3-3.5 hours although the videos were just of 60fps. Nevertheless, I changed my refresh rate to 60 hz and my battery life improved significantly. I also removed several apps which autostarted (even if i disabled them on startup) by merely checking task manager which also helped a lot.

Great video man. I had a question. On my MSI GF65 there's an option to limit charging to 50-60 percent. It says to enable this option if i use my laptop primarily plugged in(which i do), so that it prolongs battery lifecycle. Should i use this option?

Would a Dedicated Gpu Laptop give same or relatable Battery backup compared to an integrated gpu aptop if both have same Whr battery and same processor under completely ideal conditions i.e when no graphics are processed whatsoever.. .??? Also , does a Dedicated GpU laptop also have some integrated gpu in it , so that if turning off the dedicated GpU when not needed for gaming or editing activates the integrated gpu for normal taska to improve the battery drain?

Hi, I purchased new laptop. Dell G 15 5520 i5 12th gen 16Gb.From 1st day onwards I'm getting a battery drop of 1℅ per minute. I checked task manager, cpu at 1℅, Dedicated Graphics 0℅, memory 5.8GB, WiFi 0 KBps, Integrated GPU 0℅. No external devices connected while testing reports. Design capacity of battery is 54,891mWh, Full charge of capacity is 52030mWh ( which reducing every next day). A total of just 100 min of backup I get on STAND BY MODE(which is with only display onn and no other function on it) I I talk with Dell and they finally agreed that this laptop should give 3-4 hrs of backup on stand by mode. And they ready to replace with new battery.I kindly request you to share your opinion on this scenario that is my battery has a problem? And if yes then should I allow dell to replace battery of new laptop or should I opt for complete laptop replacement? Waiting...for your reply my friend.

i got a new dell g15(11260h/3050/16gb/512gb) set to 60hz 56wh battery and on light use i dont even get 2 hours of life(ex: watching yt vid), on the HWinfo64 battery wear lvl is 8.7% what does that mean, ive been using it a few days. do i need to get it replaced? its using like 1% every minute even if 10% are gone that use rate is still high

Bro my hp victus give 8 hrs or more for normal usage but when i play gta 5 battery fall 60% for 1 hour so do i plug and play or keep aside then charge and use . My doubt is that if play without charging fans run smoothly and no heating issue (42°c to 50°c )but when i plug and play it goes to 90°c to 100°c and fans run automatically max speed and heats up so do i plug and play or not and if i plug and play does it decrease my battery life or any damges happens?? How many whr is considered decent battery in terms of whr? Every laptop are around 50whr. Asus has 90whr in intel varient and reviews are claiming around 3hrs. But amd cpu with lower whr will beat 90whr intel.

Helpful video Your editing and presentation has improved a lot I personally get about 4.5-5 hours of battery with light usage (chrome, wathcing videos, ms office etc) on my ryzen 4600h pavilion I can push it to 6 hours with the same usage, if I set the brightness very low and switch the refresh rate down to 60hz I feel the main reason why a lot of users get poor battery is because they have alot of unnecessary background apps. If you're a gamer, then programs like steam, origin, discord, epic games etc automatically start when you boot up windows. I'm guessing most people leave them unchecked. I've also found that using Edge instead of Chrome can give me 15-20 mins of extra usage. Edge being chromium based makes it very similar but I find it hard to give up chrome :)
