Thank you. I did the first two steps, and checked, and there's a huge improvement. I wonder if I only had to to the first step, though. I should have checked before doing the second.

Changing the DNS worked out a ton for me, went from 200kB/s to 3.5MB/s.

@@cameronistired1806 it depends, what you can do is ping googles dns and cloudflares dns through cmd and compare the ping from either and see which is less, choose the one with the lowest

changing DNS and it went frotm 10mb to 65mb thanks a lot (also check on speed test if you have right download speed my router sometimes is bugging, and i need to restart it)

The .ini file trick did work, somewhat. I have super internet, and I went from being stuck at 50 MB/s to close to 70 MB/s. Epic Games still doesn't seem to take full advantage of my internet, though, since I have a 2000/2000 internet connection with high-end hard drives. But it works better.

Damn, first two steps actually worked! Didn't even need to do more, this is great, I was sick of the tutorials I was finding, there was one that basically had you cause your PC to bluescreen lol Anyways, thanks mate.

Worked for me. Could increase it from 20MB/s to 75MB/s. - I should get up to 125MB/s with a 1Gbit/s .. but still a dream for my cable connnection.

Epic games is just garbage. Even when downloading (which is slow, did all this stuff didn't make a difference) it just stops. For ages just nothing. Eventually goes back to downloading at turtle speeds. Even if it is for 2 seconds before it stops again. POS Oh this is after you are queued for 30 min before anything even starts (even when it is the only thing you are trying to download or update)
