Without socialising, no private practice will ever workout. A doctor has to first earn people's trust. A very sad part about networking, especially, in villages, is that, a dentist has to seek help from quacks instead of NGOs if we talk at the ground level because quacks actually influence people very powerfully.

Sir my clinic is in village and its a new just a 4 month old... When we opened then i got a huge amount of pateint bcz of the season going on..but ..in these days pateints are not coming.....so plz help me sir what should I do...to enhance my practice as i delvered a gud result to the pateint though it....I didn't get so much patient

Sir I have opened a new clinic in a big city and after 15 days only one single patient had turned up. There are almost 1000 dentists in this city much much more than required for the population of this city. After investing so much money in education, spending my whole life studying if i am getting this response i am feeling frustrated. Dentistry is a dead profession in India, it might have a lot of scope in developed nations but in India it is a dead choice. Nowadays as dental clinics are not running well, what the dentists are doing is they are scamming other dentists in name of 3 day learning programmes, which are nothing more than wastage of money.

Everyone says to be good in behaviour with patients..If than patients are not good to us and rude to us than why should we behave them properly..We are doctors and we don't need them if they have any dental problems than they have to come to our clinic forcefully.

This approach isn't correct... there're 2 things - "An eye for an eye & soon the whole world will be blind", said Mahatma Gandhi...& 2nd thing is - Life as well as practice is interdependent...we need patients as much as they need us...

Can surgeons have their own private clinic, say a neurosurgeon? If yes, how is it done?

They can definitely have private clinic (OPD) and operate in any preferred hospital...this way they can be interdependent instead of dependent on hospitals...hope it helps!

@@himangshuhazarika3 actually a question totally out of the context for me still as far as I can understand - It depends upon 1) policy of every hospital which can be different from each other OR 2) the agreement between surgeon and hospital...

thanks for the advice i will definitely do MBA FOR it i fully accept i am not on the top of my knowledge i am learner i respect my critics because i know there input will make me perfect one day Biggest motivational factor for me after seeing more than 10000 videos on different topics including motivational videos and success stories of most successful people around the globe is that for even a illiterate plumber video who doesn't know the spelling of management showing simple bathroom fitting has more than a lac viewer on you tube ANOTHER NATURE LAW is don't waste your energy on advising self proclaimed masters rest assured you will not receive any comment from my side

WHO says there should be 1 dentist per 7000 people, this figure is for developed nations where the paying capacity of public is much higher. In India this figure has come down to 1 dentist per 1200 people in a nation where per capita income in among the lowest in the world. poverty is rampant. This is the reason why many dentists are emigrating to western nations and middle east as Indian market is supersaturated with dentists. Private dental colleges have destroyed the field of dentistry, overproduction of dentists has destroyed a once prosperous field of dentistry.
