I never understood, _"I slept like a baby."_ I never wake up every two hours with shit in my pants wanting to be fed.😂 Seriously, try intermittent fasting. I never thought I could go a day without eating. It was actually easier than I thought. All you need is water for a daily fast. If you start the night before, it makes the next day a breeze. It kicks that metabolism into gear and gives your intestines a great chance to clean themselves out. Health all starts from the gut.

I understand where he’s coming from with the nutrition perspective for young people. Yes, your body can adjust and it does take more bad shit for you to ingest to have comparable bad outcomes as you get older. However, two things to consider: 1) the habits you form early in life tend to be the ones you’ll stick with later. If you don’t start healthy habits now, it’ll be incredibly difficult to shift later. Later as in when you start to see and feel the bad outcomes kicking in as you get older. 2) Bad shit takes awhile to manifest, but it’s slowly building up even when you are young and your body has some ability to adjust for it. As an analogy: if you walked out to your car and saw a slow oil leak below it, but when you turned on the car the check engine light wasn’t on yet. You wouldn’t just ignore the oil leak until the check engine light came on. By that time damage could have already been done. The point is: our bodies are even more complex than that. Much more. And the negative impact on your physical and mental health compounds like compound interest. Bottom line: DON’T discount nutrition, ever. For the rest of your life. Yes, you may not feel or see the effects, but they are slowly happening inside your body. To be honest, I’d put nutrition ahead of exercise. It’s a super close second to sleep in terms of importance. You wouldn’t put shitty gas or oil into a sport car just because it’ll still run. Don’t do it to your body.

I am 50, former linebacker turned boxer, training since age 12. Forget all supplements except good vitamins. Eat high fat, moderate protien and no carbs. Once you adapt to this the body runs on fat for energy non stop. I wish I knew this when I was 18. I only eat between 4pm and 9pm and train at 9am on coffee and water. If I didn't drink beer every weekend I would be in better shape but hey, nobody is perfect,lol.

@@PhantomFilmAustralia so you work out 4 days and the 5th day you fast for 24 hours? My thing is if I’m building muscle then I have to eat but I do it every 3 hours so I still get my three meals a day before I head the 16 hour fast. I know they say cut out carbs but I need it. What’s your recommendation?
@PhantomFilmAustralia
@PhantomFilmAustralia 2 жыл бұрын
@@rs7458 You never want to cut carbs completely out of your diet. Your body needs them if it burns them. Regarding fasting, I tend to extend the time between fasting by one extra day if I am fitting in a higher intensity workout. The day before the fast is the highest intensity, and the last meal before bed is usually a shake for faster recovery. The following 24 hours is to drink plenty of still water. It's actually easier than what most think. When you wake up in the morning, you've effectively already fasted for 10 hours. You just have to make it to dinner time. If my schedule doesn't permit me to work out as much, I then fast after day four. I'm militant in my workout, but I have to remain somewhat flexible in my weekly routine. With this fast, it's amazing how quickly your metabolism speeds up, your gut health drastically improves, and how much more spring you have in your daily life. A full digestive cycle is 24 hours, making it ideal. Your lifestyle, the climate you live, and the availability of seasonal foods would differ to mine, so take that into consideration. It's a good template, but work with what works best for you.

Wow, nailed it on every point, especially the importance of high D3 and the importance of taking with K2. Heavy compound exercises the key, especially full squats, hack squats or leg presses to failure. Can't comment on eggs and cholesterol as don't know enough. Some say you can eat many eggs a day without increasing your bad cholesterol rare. The late unorthodox bodybuilding "trainer of the stars" Vince Gironda used to advocate a dozen eggs a day. Let's see some case studies on that. Can't comment on testosterone boasting supplements. Been on dozens of cycles personally but saw some 24 year old who claims he needs to be on TRT rest of his life because of taking such a supplement but he looked kind of soy to begin with. Would have only added ... try to avoid plastics ... drink out of glass and cut out the soy of course ... and the seed oils. Add grass fed red meat (no processed meat).

Exercise, be at a healthy body weight, eat a good balanced diet is about all you can do. If you have done all those things for a solid period of time and your bloodwork still shows that your testosterone is below the normal range, then seek medical assistance at that point. That means you have medical evidence that it is low, not just thinking it is low. Note, having your testosterone in the normal range and bumping it up to the higher normal range probably isn't going to make a dramatic difference in muscle gains. Good stuff here.

The yellow of the egg is much better for you than the white of the egg haha the bigger issue that people ignore which is what causes A LOT of the problems is inflammation. Inflammation will turn the calcium, as well as the cholesterol, which cholesterol is just a blood lubricant, into a waxy film which will cause blood pressure issues, hypertension, heart disease, malnutrition, and many metabolic diseases, aside from arthritis and other discomforts. How to reduce? Well supplementing salt with turmeric is a great start. Cold therapy, besides the sauna. I take cold showers 6days a week and like to take an ice bath when I can. Wake up, go outside and be chilled. Another tip is post-meal walking. After Every meal go for a 10+ minute walk, it'll curb the inflammation response sent to the stomach, and in turn each step causes the abs to massage your stomach improving digestion, which then your body soon will adjust to the quicker digestion metabolizing sooner. One thing 8-10mins into the walk you'll notice is the reduction/elimination of feeling bloated.

you mixed up one thing rich. caucasian people synthesize vit d the best. dark skin is protective against uv damage but detrimental to vit d synthesis. this is why i hammered home vit d supplimemts for all my black and brown patients when i lived in michigan. its also why i reccomend sunscreen daily to my fair skinned patients. 10000iu daily os also waaaaaaaay too much.

Rich is absolutely CORRECT. I want to add that you should eliminate all sources of sugar and food that metabolizes into sugar in the blood stream. I m almost 70 with almost no health issues and my blood panels are crom the acceptable level to optimum and I take ZERO medications. I eat meat, shell fish and ocean fish wild caught such as salmon, halibut etc and a lot of mussels and oysters. I only eat lower carb veggies and no fruit except avocados, zucchini, and a lot of cabbage. Rich always takes a no BS, short version approach providing only facts and dorsn;t pretend to know what he doesn;t know. He has integirty, and credibility and this is what I lile about him. His products are great.

Testosterone is simply a matter of nutrition. Eat "whole food, plant based" and avoid toxins like alcohol and most drugs, and get adequate rest, then your T will become and stay high even into old age. Just as importantly, your arteries and blood flow will work very well long term.

So does he post any studies? It doesn’t necessarily follow you need to eat dietary cholesterol because t is made from cholesterol.

There are no studies that can claim anything that can be reproduced without controversy, except for the fact's that a healthy body regulates anything perfectly well. Anyone that says different or claims without controversy simply doesn't read between the lines of that this is stuck in controversy for a while already. No magic routes. Just plain staying healthy, without excuses will come a long way.

@@a64750 You mean just another interpretation without a source, if you followed an academic study I'm sure you double checked your confounding variable. Just because something points in a direction, coherence is not causal context. Again you can apply magical thinking but it will get nowhere, wishfull thinking is another one. Peace.

@@RN-gx7wt "except for the fact's that a healthy body regulates anything perfectly well" do you have evidence for this "fact"? And how do you even get to this state, by eating healthy foods and not unhealthy? lol.

i have a question,,,what is the point of trying to pick up women or relationship or marriage when in any of those cases they can mock you, shame you, call harrassment, call abuse, file for divorce like the other 80 percent of women, claim you did something in a fwb situattionship???? it almost seems better to just build yourself the best you can, everybody is different and not show any attention to women any more,,,that time has past.they are on their own

These are great suggestions however you won't get lots of increase. I think the average for men is around 500. My score is 30. So I'm not going to have a huge jump here in T levels. What I find funny is if you're a 12 year old girl transitioning to a boy they throw T at you but if you're a boy transitioning to an alpha boy they deny you T.

Get on a Keto diet and stay on it. 70% fat, 25% protein, 5% carbs. No sugar, no grains, no bread, no pasta, no tortillas. Eat a lot of avocados for the fat. Do intermittent fasting. That means don't eat for 16 hours or more. You are training your body to burn fat instead of carbs. Don't worry about calorie counting. You can still consume 2,000-2,500 calories a day. Your body will burn fat not muscle. The transition period is about a month. 95% of people will quit within a month because of lack of discipline. The fat will start to melt away within two weeks for those who stick with it. Your testosterone level will increase, and your muscle definition will be noticeable within 2-3 weeks. I've been on the Keto 6 months. I'm 62 and for the first time in my life I'm able to see a six-pack developing. No TRT, no b-s "balanced diet", no outrageous exercise program. I'm living proof it works.
