I show the steps to install a 3 prong electric range cord if you have an outlet with 3 slots. If you are purchasing a power cord for an electric range, you need to match the amps of the range and circuit, and the prongs on the cord to the outlet.

Thank you for this….i bought a used oven for my shitty apartment because my landlord is an absolute scumbag and won’t replace the one that broke. I wouldn’t know what a grounding strap was and I would have been out a good amount of money had I not watched this so….thank you for that.

How important is the strain relief assembly? Mine doesn't fit, as in the "ear" won't lay flat on one direction because there isn't enough room inside the housing on the stove so I can screw the two pieces together tightly
