How to Install a Cabinet Mounted Trash Bin DIY!

For our particular cabinets which have a face frame which stands proud of the cabinet base by 3/4 of an inch, required a 3/4" spacer block to get the trash bin slides to sit flush with the cabinet face frame in which case I used cabinet grade 3/4" baltic birch plywood from home depot to get the job done.
I would recommend this type of trash bin to anyone who wants to achieve the cleanest look possible in their kitchen by not having a stand alone trash bin, to anyone who cooks a lot making prepping food and tossing out the waste very easy and almost in one motion in our kitchen and keeps the trash away from our dog that loves to explore way too much when we are not around.

Exccellent. Do you know how to install and elfa easy glider 25. I want to place it in a corner bottom cabinet. I bought it from the thrift store and the instructions are missing.

Great tutorial! We don’t have the raised bottom of cabinet to add an extra wood plank. So do we just drill the screws straight on to the floor of the cabinet? Or do we have to add something to not damage the cabinet floor? As you can tell by my question, I m a new to all these things. Thanks.

There will be the 4 small holes in the cabinet floor but I would just put them right in !

You would think so but the bags are so small and you take them out so often I have never noticed honestly! But def recommend don’t leave raw chicken containers in there overnight haha!
