In this video we will be going over everything start to finish and show you exactly how to install a car amplifier and subwoofer on your own. DIY amp install is what we are attempting to share for you. As much as we like to just assume everyone already knows how to install a car amplifier and subwoofer , that fact is a car amplifier can be a pain in butt, lol and the Subwoofer has its very own set of install tricks.

I have 3 Kicker comp C12s they are all rated 150 watt RMS 600 watt peak. All are SVC 4 ohm subs. I currently have 2 wired as an 8 ohm load hooked up to a Planet Audio 1500.1 anarchy amp. I have a Kicker CXA300.4 how would you wire these?

Aye bro I upgraded my factory mids and highs for some Fosgate equipment. I calculate it at 430 total watts.. 2 5.25 dash. 4 6x9 doors and rear panels. 2 6.25 under rear seats. Should I get the 300 watt 4 channel amp or the 500 4 channel amplifier?

If it was me, id do the 500, so you dont have a need to crank on the gains. Ya know. This would keep the signal clean. Also make sure the "calcukated power needed for the spkrs is based on RMS not max ratings.

Hey you might remember me lol but I have questions about clipping. If I get a capacitor would that help with clipping? Also i plan on getting 2 12 inch 1600 watt subs for my 1500 watt amp, would that stop the clipping? It doesn’t sounds as good as I want without it clipping. I’m not sure what watt my 2, 10’s are but they aren’t very good.

Clipping is when the input signal is being over "gained" if that makes sense, lol. The only way new subs help is if the set up is louder and you can turn the gain on the amp down. A capacitor wont help with clipping..its help with voltage stability and thst might help with a bit of volume. But clipping itself is a signal in/signal out thing.

@@myonlinecarguy1 so it could be a deck problem bc I have factory radio. And I could fix this with new subs if I didn’t have to turn the gain up as high? I know the ones I have are cheap kickers

YOU HAVE TO UPGRADE YOUR ELECTRICAL IN THE ENGINE BAY HIGH OUTPUT ALT AND XS POWER BATTS WHICH I AM USING NOW WITH A SPARE XS POWER BATT FOR SUPPORT. ONCE YOU DO THAT SAY BYE BYE TO DIM HEADLIGHTS AND DASH LIGHTS TO.................. P.S USE THE GREAT/BETTER POWER WIRES LIKE SKYHIGH AUDIO OR XS POWER WIRES. YAH I KNOW THEY COST A LOT BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY THOSE OFC WIRES WILL NOT FAIL LIKE THE CHEAP ONES ON THIS VID LOLOL
