Not bad, but you can use that hook on the fixture bar to hold the fan in place while you wire the fan and the remote.

This really is a pretty straightforward process if you are handy and know the basics of electrical work. Otherwise of course consult an electrician and/or handyman

What is that flat black disc that was flush mounted to the ceiling called? I bought a used fan that didnt come with that and i cant figure out what i meed to buy to replace it

Its a mount they sell them at home depot by the lights and ceiling fan section. If you have a Habitat for Humanites close by they usually have a box full of them😁 Be careful and make sure to turn off breakers
