Hi, thx for all your work. Greatly appreciated. Why don’t you connect all three wires of the power line to the bmw connector and plug it in the navigator original connector ? This would make it a lot more easier! You said because it needs plenty of power but did you test or measure this ? Have you tried it and found it not sufficient? Another Chanel shows a direct connection of the entire power line of the Chigee to the navigation connector without any issue. I mean it can power a Navigator (OEM) or a Carpe Iter (my case) or a Zumot XT (a friend of mine) or a Carpureride 7in and so on, why not a Chigee ?

Looks great and i opted for the BMW phone holder, so i can use my phone and then choose which map program to run and i agree about Tom Tom ! Why did you go this route rather than use your phone? Thanks

When will the firmware in the Chigee support the control wheel in the 1300 GS? I wouldn’t want to be reaching for a touch screen while driving and adding the Chigee control seems redundant. Otherwise, it’s a great solution!

It’s not firmware it’s hardware and it is being made as we speak

I have one on the 1300 the screen is so touched sensitive even with gloves on it’s nothing to worry about to be honest even if I had the Wis wheel I will probably only use it on the motorway

You need a chigee unit that will give you navigation and calls and music then you need a helmet coms kit Cardo is best senna if you want the agro

Because the Chigee is better, I’ve got access to 4 different navigation systems telephone not that I want it WhatsApp even bloody Email when you’re on Tool you need all the help you can get with navigation and so far. All of them. Have let me down Garmin, DMD, Zoomo and the latest BMW communicator, to be honest, the DMD was the best, but not as good as Chigee

he has its place in the market if you want to go to the shops on a Saturday buy one of those if you want to talk and have a robust reliable product by Chigee

Do you think the Chigee cameras add value to your GS? After all, the GS is equipped with the riding assistant. Or am I seeing this wrong? Personally, I wouldn't install the cameras.

absolutely hundred percent anyway. The main value is in the unit for different navigation systems in one telephone, WhatsApp email, and whether instantly no pissing about with connection problems.

For a start, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto giving the interface and apps we are all used to using and total choice of which navigation you prefer such as Tomtom. Tyre pressure monitors even gives tyre temperature. Front and rear cameras permanently record as dash cam but can also be viewed real time. Blind spot indicators for rear and sides. etc
