The name of the company is Betz Box. He has a Facebook page with a phone number you can call. He makes them in his garage. He’s based on the Tampa area I think.

It keeps the pumps from air locking at high speeds. Pretty much a must for a stepped hull boat. I don’t see how air locking would be a problem at low speeds. It also makes the pumps last longer because they are submerged in water and stay cooler. You’re actually using bilge pumps instead of live well pumps. I’ve been very happy with it since I installed it. When I get the boat up to cruising speed I actually have to close the valve a little so it doesn’t blow the lid off of the live well.

I think you should mount the through hull fitting in different way, so that the slots are backwarts, to prevent high water pressure on high speeds..? Only on slow moving boats your way is better and preferred. Regards 👋

Thank you! Setting up a live well is probably the project I’m most proud of on the new boat! But the only videos that get any views are the ones of me working on my outboards.
