For kitchen sinks you have to use a serviceable p trap it cant be all glued. That's code in my area. He should also have a 3/4" cleanout plug at the bottom as well.

You need the tapered polyethylene washer on each slipped over pipe with the flat side toward the nut and tapered side towards the threads. The rest he does he uses standard PVC that needs glued but most kits will have these fittings where you cut to length for your setup and use the polyethylene washers to tighten each connection since it's slipped into and not glued.

The kitchen that this sink was installed in has no room for a dishwasher nor will it ever without an addition being added to the kitchen. Thanks for the comment 👍

You can take the whole glued up part off from the 2 tailpieces and P trap by unscrewing the plastic nuts.....

Now there is no way to snake it , will fail inspection

That’s why it’s called p-trap. There’s always water trapped in the pipe which prevent sewer gases from coming back up to the sink.

I think that pipe might be a vent.. it's hard to tell because he doesn't show where the actual trap goes into

This video is made in Canada, we don't use PVC in residential plumbing. I'm all for PVC however the pipe and fittings are not available. We use Sys 15 and XFR however it's only in commercial and priced high. Thanks for the comment

You need to take off that p-trap, it's that U-shaped piece at the bottom, unscrew both sides and drop it out make sure you have a bucket to catch the water that's in the p-trap, then clean out the clogged and reassemble. If your is all glued-on like his in the video you are going to need a wire coat hanger and fish it down the drain to loosen up the clogged then put Drano in there and wait 20 minutes before turning on the faucet, if that doesn't work, have water in your sink and use your toilet plunger. Try these things first before calling a plumber.

That's what I was looking at lol... I've seen some videos and I see people not installing garbage disposals to their kitchen sinks??? So are they just using some Dinosaur to eat the little scraps that might fall into the sink lol 😆 😅
