Installing your new KitchenAid® Range is a two-person job. Start by removing your old gas range and turning off the gas valve. Next, wrap the gas valve threads with Teflon® tape for proper sealant and a secure fit. Then, attach the gas connector to the gas line, and attach the street elbow to the gas port on your range. Tighten your gas connector, turn on the gas, and make sure to carefully check for any leaks.
