Can this be applied over grit coated torch down with patched areas of both asphalt and elastomeric?

Hi there, thank you for the very informative video. I am about to place an order on the link below, but I need a bit more info (sorry for my poor knowledge, a beginner DIY...), Our shed's roof is Self Adhesive PU Flet Sheet. A few years, it's not bad but needs some attention, I want to polish it with this Arboflex Pu, followed by UV protection. My question is ) is it ok to use Fibreglass Matting on the PU Flet sheet? and b) Just to reconfirm, is Arboflex Pu, ok to use on the PU Flet Sheet? (I am sorry, as I am still learning so want to make sure before I place an order at the below link)

Hi, I have a flat roof with gravel shingles on top. Some of these gravels have embedded into the felt now. When removing these I will no doubt damage the felt. Would this have a negative affect on the fibreglass when applying the arboflex?

Hi Ghazi It should be ok but if in doubt, I would overboard the existing system and lay a new waterproofing membrane onto the new boards.

Hi Bartosz With the Arboflex system we use one coat of the Pu Liquid applied wet on wet with the 225 csm matting as you can see in the video. Once this has cured, the next day we applied a coat of the Uv protect top coat to achieve a longer life expectancy. I hope this helps, thanks for watching!

Gunning that chase like a 5 year old what a mess try laying it directly over osb with out old felt under it wont last 5 years you know it i know it .just not roofers end of ...chancers roller and a sweeping brush. talk the talk love to see them on some tricky detail be like a dirty protest they'd be covered in the shite

You need to leave a 5mm minimum gap in that grp trim. And never use a rigid fibreglass coating. If the system goes of hard like all grp systems DONT USE IT ON A ROOF.

Hi there Thanks for watching! Arboflex is not a Grp system, it's a Polyurethane liquid system reinforced with fibreglass matting.

Why not just torch on two layers again. Far better job no need for pu mastic or any of that prep work. No need for reinforcement matting or any of that shite… torch on still the best flat roof…. Fact
