Great video. Thanks for the tips. Here's another quick tip. When putting the canopy back up, I use a long pole to spread the canopy out and towards the corners.

For the past ten years I have dreaded the canopy replacement procedure. Every 2 years the thing shreds because we don't take it down. Every time we put in the new canopy I want to go somewhere and pound sand. For the first time, FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! we learned BECAUSE OF YOU to release the arms at the top of the gazebo. Geeze!! What an absolute difference. While we did not purchase the canopy you suggest (we made our purchase previous to viewing the video) we did receive with the new canopy the instructions you gave in your video. I'm a professional video producer and applaud whoever was shooting this to go in at the right time to allow the viewer to see close ups of what you were doing. Dang! You just made our lives that much easier. A+++ Thank you!

Thank you for this video . I am a person that can not wait to put something up when excited.. The person that knows how to do this, informed me that I needed to wait a week for him to help. AFTER watching this, this much older lady was able to put it up herself. I felt proud of myself.

Dude. Best tip ever. Every year I dread putting up the canopy. I’ve ripped 3 going up or coming down. Removing just 2 cross bars at the top made it soooo much easier. Thanks!!!

Life saver on the top part. On the bottom part, what I did is put the corners first and the middle parts are easier after the corners are done.

great video, wish I had known about using the release buttons before I tore ours, Its a few years old so We got the use of it. but now looking for a new top, I do not have the manufacturer and Am not sure what or who to order from. Most websites do not show the holding pins you have to stretch to reach, so Until your video, I was sure they were all different. Seems only quality is the difference. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I use a plank ladder when working on my gazebo. More mobility, and it's safer.

I increased the life of the ordinary canopy from 2 years to 3.2 years by clamping the blacker material to the metal, that’s about 8 Bessey clamps on each end. 32 clamps it prevents the wind from slowly tearing the canopy. Crazy but it works.

I have the same gazebo. I find best to attach the 4 corners first then the 4 center ends. There is less pressure on the corners that way.

When you put the canopy on the metal corners. Its best to put it on like a tire. Dont go in a circle which makes it much harder to pull. I did it with ease by criss crossing the canopy like an X. Start at one corner then opposite corner and so on. Then when pulling the sides down go acroos not in a circle.

Where did you get the extremely large concrete blocks from to pave the backyard? Did you DIY this project as well? Nice job 👍🏽. I open my box and the center fitting is missing plus the top framing for the top of the gazebo that stands up. SMH

So it looks like from the video that you had left one of the top part connections out you only had connected three not 4 from what I can see, but then after it is connected not shown in the video and you are putting the velcro netting on ?Did you have a hassle with that because I am finding it hard to connect the top part click in bars.

Those canopy gazebos are junk. I would never buy one again, just bought a hard top . Replacing those canopy never fit the same as the regular one at least for me .
