How to Install a Onewheel Pint X Battery Module

In the next major leap forward towards modular level repair, you can now replace your Pint and Pint X Battery Module from the comfort of your own garage. Note that the process is a bit technical and it needs to be done carefully so make sure you follow the steps laid out by Mercedes exactly. If you don't, you could seriously damage your board or yourself.
Make sure your board is registered in the Owners Portal at my.onewheel.com. After physically installing your battery, you'll need to activate it within the app in order to ride.

not at the moment but in some weeks (just my guess) they probably wipe out the registration part

you can buy the onewheel quart battery by chibattrysystems for a big boost in range for a pint

I love my Pint X!❤ I only wish it received more love on updates, the Pint X is a street monster! It’s light and nimble and the best trick board in my opinion, except for a few things… the board needs custom shaping. Plain and simple. We need better footpad engagement. If Pint X had custom shaping it would probably be the best board Future Motion produces, I ride my Pint X almost every day, just wish it received all the love the GT got.

It would be sweet since you can switch the pint x and pint motors if they sold the x battery and the bottom plate so they can upgrade the battery as well. Only seems logical, but maybe the controller can't support it.

Why does a battery change require an "activation"?

you could buy a pint x battery for your regular pint and save some money. with the "activation" you forced to buy a whole pint x (all about the money)

I’m frustrated the video doesn’t mention that you need a pentalobe screwdriver/bit. It’s not a widely available tool in stores. I placed an order for a kit online and am hoping they are the right size. Would have been nice to give the specifics in the video or video description.
