I put the output hole in my three piece section at the bottom. There also needs to be a drain to expose the moisture taken out of the air inside.

I'm installing mine right now and am worried I don't have enough weatherstripping. You said to install the weatherstripping on the sides, top and bottom? I appreciate the video as it was very helpful with this task. I would like to ask how to get the drain line through the panels. I guess I can drill a hole but hope you have a suggestion. thank you, i got a similar kit from inomo and thought the wing nut can go in either direction. but the diagram is terrible and i can see the groove lines up with the peg piece so direction does matter.

Do you have any recommendations for a slider where the active panel is out and the stationary is in? I have used 1X8 Versatex but am having trouble making it theft proof while keeping it a safety exit.

I have the same type of door and used a bolt and a screw at the end do it can’t be shaken out. The tip of the bolt goes into the hole in the door and nut is towards the inside.

If I had a sliding door I would buy this. Instead I'm stuck with casement windows. Would this work with dual vent portable ACs?

I know very little about how sliding glass doors are installed. Is it possible to 'unlock' the other side that doesn't slide, slide it down just enough to install the AC unit on that end, and then relock it in place? I'm thinking then the usual sliding end would still work as is. I ask because it would be better for me, furniture layout-wise, if I put it on the other end of the door from where it slides.

Unfortunately, that won't work given how most traditional sliding glass doors are designed. Keep in mind the portable AC comes with a hose that extends so you will have a bit of flexibility with placement.
