Looks good. That's a lot of exposed nail heads. I hadn't thought about that versus tongue and groove. As for tool nicknames, my wife refers to a reciprocating saw as a Zaw Zaw.

Wow. Thank you for the video. After seen your video I made up my mine. I will do the shiplap board in my two door garage. Instead of using PVC which is very expensive. Any advice will greatly appreciated.

This is perfect. We’re going to use shiplap for our shed conversion. Luckily we don’t have outlets, but we will have windows to cut around. We don’t really have much power tools so if we have to rent one for cuts, what would be the best saw to use?

for the corners where the shiplap meets, did you just but them up against each other or add a trim piece?

Exactly! They have a trim piece that is a 90 degree angle. For both convex and concave corners. Fits perfectly.

What's your opinion on using MDF vs pine? I've heard pros and cons to both. Would like to know your personal opinion.

I personally would never “knowingly” use MDF. I don’t like how it reacts to moisture. I’ve had good experience with this pine shiplap with two buildings now.

In a new construction do you feel like it’s more cost efficient to use shiplap vs paying labor cost for drywall ?

Totally up to you. It wasn’t cost efficient for us to wait and get on someone’s schedule to do dry wall. And the labor is costly. We also knew we wanted the shiplap look. So we saved on labor, but had the cost of material. It was about a wash in money cost. It obviously took longer to put up since we did it ourselves. But we did get to make a cool video for you. So that’s a win too!

Looks great! Is doing shiplap cheaper or same price as doing sheetrock, tape and paint.

We went with it bc we liked the look and could install it quickly on our own. It didn’t save us any money. But we would have hired out dry wall installation. Loads of people do that on their own too. You’ll save money if you have that skill bc dry wall supplies are much lower than shiplap. The drywall labor is costly bc it really is a skill!

@Better Together Homestead thanks so much!! I am thinking g about doing ship lap as my wife loves the way it would look in a pool house shed. I did receive a couple of prices to sheetrock, tape and paint for around $3300.00.

What do you do about corners where two walls meet? 45 degree miter cuts or you just overlap one side on top of the other?

Love your channel. I have a question I'm praying someone could help me with. I am doing a shed to tiny home. I have metal ceilings that have no plywood under. I tried to put regular fiberglass insulation up and its dripping everywhere. Would some one please give me some knowledge to resolve this issue. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. Roseanna

Jesus Christ died for all of our sins. He died the death we all deserved. He was the perfect one who never sinned once, but he loved us so much he decided to die for us so our sins would be paid for and we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven before God the Father blamelessly.
