Great idea with the chalk line to get a vertical line...

Use a laser beam level to guide your double cuts, don’t take your blade out once you’ve started a cut.

@flyingscience You can certainly remove them and put them back up in a different location. The mural should have no problem surviving the taking down and reinstallation process and there should be no creases or rips. If you think you might need to remove and reinstall the mural somewhere else, you might want to skip the "double cut" part of this tutorial and leave the overlaps in place. Please let me know if you have any further questions and I'd be happy to answer them for you.

@marrymeharrystyles you can certainly cut a wall mural to any size you want. Also, if you have the image that you want to use for your wall mural (higher quality the better) on our website you can make a custom sized one to fit your wall perfectly.

They are printed on canvas, and applied with Wall Paper paste.

Don't forget to get a stick for your roller so you can keep both feet on the ground when applying glue?

Is it possible to remove these and put them back up in a diffrent location if someone moves ? Can the mural survive being pulled off or would it have all kinds of creases rips? Would the back be smooth enough to use again??

I recommend self adhesive vinyl to avoid the mess with the paste I dont understand why would you use this

this looks like a painful mural project. the glue, the trimming between panels. I'd rather use the self adhesive rolls.

When smoothing, I would advise vertical strokes

when double cutting NEVER take your blade from the cut its a no no

she should have mixed enough paste for all the wall area not a tiny amount in that ( toys r us ) tray and used a wider roller , and cut the joint by not taking the blade from the wall

This is stupid it didn't even install properly in the video. You cannot cut a straight vertical line on a wall like that. It takes a great deal of skill. Just print to the edge of the paper and butt the seams,

it does not. We use the same glue that you would use for wall paper. Very safe for walls.

No offense to the lady doing the installation, but this is a typical homeowner-quality installation job. A professional installer knows that the blade must never come off the surface once “the cut” has begun. When she cut the vertical strip, it is apparent that she didn’t sufficiently cut through the material and she therefore had to cut again where she only perforated the material. This second cut will necessarily make the edge jagged and this looks terrible. Many other criticisms here but those are most glaring. The seller here doesn’t install and therefore doesn’t realize how bad this looks. Folks: bottom line-hire a pro.
