You need to take out the water restrictor gasket to increase water flow.

Okay so I bought the exact one but the ball thing inside that moves the head makes this awful squeaking. I'm not sure if it's tight enough or? I'm hoping you can let me know a solution thanks.

don't want to buy a new shower head for my new apt. I brought this from my old apt. So the ? is can you add a water filter for hard water? if so how? We have hard water sometimes depends on humidity and I hate the weak shower head the apt bldg provided.

This particular one does not have a filter on it but you can buy them with filters, but the filter will pull away from the pressure so if you have a filter, you will probably get less pressure if you want a stronger pressure you may have to have hard water. Good luck. Thanks for watching.

That white filter thing shouldn’t you remove it for extra power

Are usually remove those their water restrictors, and they stop the amount of water going through the system. It gives you much more power if they removed.

It's literally the same thing. Just screw the old shower head off and screw this one on
