you installed it in the wrong directory. You put the dlcpacks folder from the addonpeds download into your update.rpf file which is wrong. It's supposed to go into: [ < GTAV_ROOT> \ mods \ update \ x64 ] and NOT: [ < GTAV_ROOT> \ mods \ update \ update.rpf \ x64 ] the dlcpacks folder is not in that directory in the main game folder, and the mods folder is reflecting the main game folder, and acting as an override. AddonPeds simply is not looking in the update.rpf file for the [ x64 \ dlcpacks folder ], its looking for a dlcpack in [ update \ x64 \ dlcpacks ] Please correct this tutorial. Other than that, this video was great and taught me what I need to know to install a mod pack that didn't include any instructions, so thank you!

I did everything for spongebob mod and its not working. When i press L and then select that model nothing happens and mod UI menu or whatever is called gets stuck and u can't open it again unless u exit and join in game again.

Ok I found the problem It is the dlcpacks File i dragged it in the OpenIV and after running the game it just lets the game closes with no pop up

@@maxcaulfield6078 have to download the correct config , which is some random file on the mod nexus, there are multiple the top downloaded one did not work for m e of course, so I h ad to use another provided from discord, I also downloaded a car mop pack that bricked the game, but t he correct config made the game playable again, the config will be on the nexus btw , the discord part was a tip from someone I hate using discord but it was necessary since there is no accurate solution online had to shake someone down..

@@WatchoutNSGwell did you flip / to \ in the dlc list it takes awhile but itll fix the crashing without getting a config. Just gotta do every single line of code except paths and what ever is after it and the item ones aswell

Did you corrupt the files? For example, if you remove the 2nd character, it lets you go in the game again? Maybe you didnt format the "Is Streamed" setting in the Addon Peds.exe correctly? Or its a bug during install. I need more info to determine this.

I followed this video exactly as what you said, but for some reason whenever I start up GTA V it crashes in the loading screen. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Also, this issue stopped once I deleted the mods folder, so that's how I know it's related to addon peds.

it's the dlclist text, you have to change every "/" to "'\" but dont include the "/" in part

I'm seeing so many conflicting responses to addon peds that I'm anxious to even try downloading it. So many people saying they are stuck on loading screens asking for help with no reply. The mod I'm pretty sure has been abandoned. So that doesn't help morale either. So I have two questions: Are there no other alternatives that are still supported? Can Addon Peds be used with a different trainer, like Menyoo?

When your in openiv make sure to enable permissions for gta and then restart open iv without running it as administrator

My brother try deleting the default peds in the addonpedseditor.exe and rebuild and see if it fixes it, if not remove addonpeds and it'll work again (GTA 5)

Hi, after following all the steps and succesfully adding custom peds into the game, my weapons ended up bugged, I just select them and they don't show and neither do they work, and a few minutes after launching the game it just crashes. Anybody has any idea how to fix this?

From my knowledge, When changing your player skin, the game automatically removes all your weapons. With a menu like nativeUI, you could get them all back with just a click.

Yes, Im cutting down the big GTA 5 Modding tutorial into small easier parts for people looking for specific segments. It will just help grow the channel and let people find what they want easier. While im working on some big Minecraft stuff, putting out some tutorials is helpful for the channel.

Repeat same thing download again or go to dlc list and there you added xml addonpeds there is like this\addonpeds\ change that to this /addonpeds/ if it also not work try as shift+L key it will come first igot like that only I downloaded again it came

To uncorrupt it, delete the default peds in the addonpeds editor or uninstall AddonPeds and its fixed for you. Simple.
