Install custom skin using official Amazfit app. Don’t need any 3rd party app.

Need help. Cant find the watch skin folder. Jist recently downloaded zepp and followed all ur steps. Pretty familiar with the steps since been doing this with haylou watches

I installed skins for amazfit T-rex pro on amazfitwatcfaces program (on my watch) by signing in and connecting to my watch. I had a problem at first. I saw very few pixels on my watch after installation. I restarted it and lost the skin. I reinstalled the same skin 2x faster, bu this time I put my watch just next to my cell phone and it worked...yey. I tried again and again with other skins. The solution for a good upload is to put the phone and the watch very close to each other. I hope this is a good piece of information for you.

It is really simple, the video is long but shows everything step by step and it works. Try it once and the next watch face change will take you literally 30 seconds.

My t-rex freezes when I use custom faces, once I select a gps activity, it just freezes without entering the activity (example walking/running/cycling)... I then have to restart it, the custom face is deleted automatically, and I need to disable and enable raise to wake and my custom heart rate measuring setting. This does not happen when I use the faces that come with the zepp app, but those are really ugly compared to the custom ones that actually make the watch look good. I'm selling my watch just because of this.

When always on mode is enabled, the backlight remains on and doesn't shut. Can you please confirm if it is a design issue?

Mine can see the "backlight" although not as bright as the normal mode.

@@floydian_4221 You must have something broken. Mine with AOD function enabled has disabled backlight. I see hour for an example in home, but in direct sunlight i have to backlight it to see hour becaue it is visible, but not very good in sunlight. Mine works ok. AOD function works...

Unfortunately the newest Zepp app remove this folder. So we need to install older version of Zepp app or use 3rd party custom watch face installer (I don't know if there's any, but try search om play store).

I'm not wearing T-Rex at the moment, but here are possible solution: 1. Make Sure your phone is in 12 Hour format 2. Make sure your watch face support 12Hour. Choose the watch face that in preview shows AM/PM or in other words, try to change with other watch face. Anyway, I don't know FAQ in this site is related to T-Rex or not, but you may check it out support.amazfit.com/en/faq/916

After Android 11 update, all third party watch face apps for T-rex stopped working, this is the only way to change face now. I hope the app developers update their apps soon, because this is a pain in the ass to change faces.

I just bought a Trex.. And the application '' Zepp'' is awful. I can't update any faces. Even to update firmware took 3 hours with diffrent two phone. Do you have same problem with changing faces with Zepp ?

There's really no user file management system on Apple unfortunately, so more than likely you won't be able to do this like you can on Android. One of the many reasons why I can't switch from team Android.

Because this is a budget watch and a smaller company with less resources. They probably don't have the resources to spend on making watch faces or the interface as accessible as huge company like Samsung can. Guess what though my Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 crapped out after a year. Out of warranty and Samsung wants $180 to fix it after I payed original $400 for the watch. So guess what I'm doing? I bought this budget friendly watch for $80 I could care less about watch faces. I care about the product actually working.
