How to Install an Amp |2017 Ford Mustang GT |Fast and Easy

Күн бұрынI show you where and how to run all the wires that are needed to get an amp hooked up for a 2017 ford mustang GT.
If your amp needs a remote, I used a fuse under the passenger side kick panel, and which fuse had 12v when the car switched on, and 0v when the car was off I used that fuse to run the remote wire, Just insert a small remote wire into the fuse and push the fuse back into the socket, and it will work like that.

You can simply remove the battery and send your power through the bottom and into the firewall. That saves time ripping off a tire and wheel well.. ;)

@@MuahMan yeah but I was always told running the wire under the battery tray can cause the wire the get pinched or cut and isn’t worth it for the safety hazard.

Every body is asking about the remote wire it comes out from the line output converter is the blue wire just connected to the remote input on the amp

Fuse 33 is for the headunit; I'm planning on taping into it for the remote.

@@vadianx I connected my remote to that fuse and the amp stays on. I might have to invest in a on/off switch

THe Tape is called Tessa Tape if you are looking to return everything for a factory look.

I really wanted to add an amplifer and change the speakers on my 2015 mustang gt. Problem is I'm scared when you take off the carpet and panels they never go back the same way. I had a nissan sentra and added two amps, the bottom paneling never fit quite right. Also on my truck, carpet never did get snug up, very lose. Wish they made bluetooth amplifiers and speakers. Thanks for the video, but looking at it, I'm goin to leave gt alone with stock everything.

LOC has auto on and off? then it alsonshuts the amp?

Did you have to take your tire off to do this? The part with the splash guard specifically.

You don't have to remove the wheel. It's harder with the wheel on, but it's doable.

It’s a passive LOC don’t need power from what I understand

Ok so I've watched the Line out converter part like 5x.. You say tap into it.. how are you doing that without cutting anything. We need a more detailed video. Also what kind of line out converter did you use? 2 or 4 channel?

My car is sounding off when the car is off and everything off. Just like a 50hz note activates waaaaaaaaaaa and Kent stop until open the door

you probably ran the remote wire to a fuse that always has power maybe like the cigertte lighter, because remember when you opoen the door, the car turns off all accesories. I would run it to a fuse that turns off when you turn the key off.
