Why did you stop with installing the drain pipe? installing the box and getting the two waterlines at the right length is a critical part of the job.

How did you avoid melting the plastic bit on the valve where you pre soldered the copper before it went into the box?

I have a old house. The washing machine box is made out of wood and the cut off valves are coming out the side not the bottom for a standard outlet box. I don’t know what to do. The wood is rotten and needs to be replaced.

Didn't finish the job... Also did you use the ABS to PVC specific glue?

Abs glue to attach to a PVC box....amateurs. use transition glue when glueing abs to pvc....

first thing i noticed, you two are some good looking twins, must be great for business. second thing was the uniforms your workers are wearing. the shirts look really uncomfortable, like much less comfortable then the shirts you two are wearing. that enormous stitched on logo on a hot sweaty hard working back could lead to some serious back acne and other skin conditions. many of these men are too "manly" to complain or care about it but it is clear you two care about yourselves and each other, which is amazing, you totally should! but get those boys some decent shirts so their partners can enjoy running their hands down thier backs when they get home from a hard day of carrying your logo around

With the use of an Oatey laundry box, If I were to lower the box so the top of the drain pipe is 28”, could I put the p-trap below the floor? I have a crawl space below the floor. Front load washer.

Nobody got a level and a pencil. Leave those wings of the old box on. Just move new box up or down a little, saves you from a pain in the ass patch

Can you do that without welding, like add a fitting and quick connect??

I see no benefit to this box. The repair is OBNOXIOUS! Why would they install something that doesn't last forever that I have to CUT MY WALL to repair/replace?????
