Thanks mate! I wanted to convert mkv videos to amv, in order to get them on this old mp3 player. And for some reason you can't do that in Linux anymore. And my Windows knowledge is clearly not up to snuff. This video actually helped me do it. So yeah, awesome video

Sir, what if need the output video to be of a certain bitrate both for video and audio? Suppose I have a 12Mbps video 128kbps audio MP4 file and need to convert it to 3Mbps 128kbps audio MP4 file? How to do that?

Can you help me? when i trying converting DTS file from 24fps to 23,976 i'm receive message ffmpeg experimental codecs are not enabled add -strict if you want to use it, i do ffmpeg -strict -2 -i [input] -filter:a "atempo=0.999" -vn [output] but still receive same error message, is any thing i do wrong? how to enabled ffmpeg experimental codecs?

What if I don't want to keep my pictures in the pictures folder? I have a folder on a secondary drive where I store all of my photography. What then would I use instead of "... cd pictures"?

No problem, open Windows File Explorer, navigate to the folder that contains your pictures, move the cursor to an empty space on the right pane and right click, this will open up a context menu, select "Open in CMD " or in my case "Open in Windows Terminal" and this will open the CMD Terminal or Power Shell with the directory that you navigate to as default directory

I have 22 minutes and 21 second video. I want to remove some portion of video in regular intervals like for every 30 seconds i need to remove next 5 seconds and then after 30 seconds again i need to remove next 5 seconds..How to do it in ffmpeg
