How to Install Android Emulator without Android Studio

This video shows way to install Android Emulator without requiring to install the Android Studio. The method shown can easily allow to install and use emulator in IDE's such as VSCode

Commands Used -
sdkmanager "platforms;android-29"

sdkmanager --licenses
sdkmanager "build-tools;29.0.0"
avdmanager create avd -f --name nexus --package "system-images;android-29;google_apis;x86_64"
cd emulator
emulator -avd nexus

1. Go to this path: C:\Users\Nihak\.android\avd exus.avd and open the config file. 2. Find for hw.keyboard and make it yes That's it! Now restart your Emulator

"cd emulator" The system cannot find the path specified then "emulator" is not recognized as an internal or external command

cd emulator will work only when you have the emulator folder inside the path-C:\Users\Nihak\AppData\Local\Android. Check if it is there in this path. Here you don't have this folder it seems. Please try searching emulator folder and there you continue the same. You can search for emulator folder from Start Menu Search option or in File Explorer.

You can use a supportive IDE with it. For example I use VSCode

Your adb version is not matching. Try downgrading it.
