good video, but I would not use drywall screws b/c they will rust quickly. Use exterior deck screws.

I got a question.. Now as I was reading the specs on this thing.. I did notice that it was supposed to be put in an area that is not going to get water on it rain snow or anything like that.. did you take that into consideration?

Ne we did not. We have no other choice here in pacifica. Where it's wet all the time. We are right across the street from the ocean. These guys are wet everyday and are still working

The solar pannel is there to charge the battery

According to Arlo the solar panels does not charge the battery it should just keep the battery charged which in my case does not work which is quite frustrating. If you do purchase the Arlo Pro 4 do purchase as well the battery charger, you would need it to charge your battery. There is also a 25 feet charging cable. The cable and charger uses a USB but you would need an adapter for it to work. I taught the solar panel would charge the battery but this is not so which is quite disappointing.

Yup. They have a single camera connection for each panel. The panels don't generate enough power for more than one camera.

There is one issue I noticed. The camera you’re trying to hook the solar panel into must be mounted on a magnet holder. If you have a screw type holder, this will not work, because the end port covers the screw thread. Pls Let me know if others are having this issue.

@sureshsundaram7506 look at the camera on the top corner that is a screw type holder. I wish I would have taken a closer video. But it will work
