When using the wall switch does it turn on at the last used brightness setting or does it go back to the default full brightness? Thank you very much

I don't use the switch, but I just tested it for you and yes, it stayed at the last used brightness setting when I turned it off and on at the switch.

A few questions. Does the downrod have the ability to be on an angle? Could it go on a sloped ceiling? How long is the power cord and the downrod as shipped? How long of a downrod could one use without an issue? (1 ft?) -- Thanks

Hello! Great video, i just purchased this fan and Im trying to install it, but I am not sure how to wire it. I have a black, red and white coming out of the ceiling, but only two wires (white and black) coming out of the fan, not sure how to put it together
@kennie65165 ай бұрын
In the US there is usually a hot, common, and ground wire. I'm used to green being the ground wire. So one of those I would guess is going to be ground. I would find a friend that knows about electrical wiring or hire an electrician if you are not sure so you don't create a fire hazard. The ground wire usually just screws to a metal connection somewhere on the fan assembly. It would be very bad if you did that with the wrong cable though.

Is the light controlled from 2 separate switches? That might explain the red wire...might need to get help from someone

@@sonnyg3375 The rod connection is not rigid, so it stay vertically. It is also meant to be used for sloping ceiling.

I'm installing this same light now. I've done such fixtures before, including one mounted on a cathedral ceiling. The instructions that come with this product are TERRIBLE. No words just drawings. I guess they believe folks can't read anymore? Anyway, I couldn't figure out what the slim disc was for as it had obvious holes in it for attachment but the drawings don't indicate how or where it attaches to. So I looked for a video. I found yours. The extra stuff about changing out a box was wasteful. That should be a separate video. You failed to mention an important detail that I encountered early on. You must FULLY remove the set screws from the down rod before threading the rod into the fixture (K) because they interfere with the threading process. Trying to force thread it will not work and likely damage the threads. You glossed over the wiring bit for beginners, kind of important. I don't need it, but kind of important.
